COMMUNIQUÉ DE PRESSE 28 janvier 2020 Réseau postal La future filiale en partenariat s’installera à Mathod dans le nouveau magasin Ho Terroir Dès le printemps 2020, la Poste s’installera dans la filiale en partenariat implantée dans le nouveau magasin d’alimentation Ho Terroir. Les habitantes et habitants de la commune de Mathod pourront dès lors effectuer leurs transactions postales auprès de cette filiale qui permettra de bénéficier d’ho- raires élargis, même le dimanche matin. Au centre de ses engagements, la Poste a comme ambition de concourir aux transitions de notre temps, telles que celle du numérique, en apportant des solutions adaptées aux nouveaux modes de vie de la population qui évoluent en perma- nence, tout en gardant l’humain au centre de la relation pour conseiller au mieux le choix de ses clients. La filiale tradi- tionnelle de Mathod, sise Rue de la Forge 22 n’échappe pas à la diminution régulière des volumes d’affaires traités aux guichets de la poste en Suisse. Depuis neuf ans, on enregistre à Mathod un recul du nombre moyen de versements de 20%, alors qu’on dénombre en moyenne 120 lettres et 15 colis par jour. Afin de s’adapter au mieux à cette nouvelle tendance et répondre ainsi aux besoins des habitants, la Poste a développé une nouvelle solution. It is necessary to define contingency plans, determine which areas will be most affected and organise rapid rescue actions. The hereby-presented study focuses on the city of Yverdon-les-Bains, which is located in a low seismicity area, i.e. zone Z1 according to Swiss standard SIA 261. Since 1500, about forty earthquakes that have been recorded by the Swiss Seismological Service (SED) (Mw between 3 and 6) have occurred within a 10 km radius circle around the city (Fäh et al., 2011). Most of these earthquakes have an magnitude of less than 4 and an intensity observed at Yverdon-les-bains of less than V. Among them, three events are known to have caused some damage to the city: the Mw=5.2 Mathod earthquake in 1846, the Mw=4.7 Sainte- Croix earthquake in 1898 and the Mw=5.0 Bioley-Magnoux earthquake in 1929. The implementation of seismic scenarios for Yverdon-les-bains is based on a database of the building stock that was developed through a building-by-building survey and a specific taxonomy defined for Swiss buildings (Lestuzzi et al, 2016). -

A few times I have asked myself the same question, but I always end up with the same answer: it is small but oh, so complex and fascinating. Despite its smallness, it grows in complexity and importance the more one digs into the topic. The idea of looking at schwa in children’s speech came to me after a meeting with the Phonology Reading Group at the University of Tromsø. When it was time to write a research proposal, I presented the idea – still quite vague – to my supervisor, Professor Chantal Lyche. Throughout my entire PhD, Chantal has been in Oslo, on the opposite side of Norway, or on one of the world’s other continents, and has made a couple of visits to Tromsø each year. However, I cannot think of a supervisor more present and available to her PhD student. Since the very beginning of this project, Chantal has encouraged me to pursue my ideas, she has guided me to discover relationships in my data, she has pushed me to work hard on the tricky parts, and through her expertise in linguistics and her ability to see the common thread, she has made me write – and finish – a thesis where the different components connect. -

Des travaux d’entretien et de rafraîchissement ont été entrepris en 1994 mais ce n’est qu’en 2009 que la municipalité décide de procéder à des transformations complètes. Les établissements scolaires d’Orbe ayant décidé la fermeture des salles de classe, le projet prévoira la création de nouveaux appartements ainsi que le réaménagement de locaux communaux et de Conseil. PROGRAMME Le projet vient ajouter au bâtiment existant un volume d’un niveau venant abriter les nouveaux locaux de la municipalité. Ce volume prolonge le bâtiment au Sud, tout en s’adossant au mur de la fontaine municipale à l’Ouest, et offre un bel espace de terrasse de 68 m2 pour l’appartement de l’étage. L’es- pace ainsi gagné à l’intérieur permet l’aménagement de 4 appartements de 3 pièces aux étages, dont deux en duplex, ainsi que d’un studio de 30 m2 au rez-de-chaussée. Une vaste et belle salle du Conseil est quant à elle aménagée côté rue et profite d’une belle porte cochère d’origine, dont la couverte est en bois. -

Chapter 2 A “Catholic” Consistory? The Bipartisan Consistorial Court of Echallens in the Vaud (Sixteenth to Eighteenth Century) Christian Grosse Translated by Christine Rhone With patience and perseverance in equal measure, Raymond Mentzer has, for several years, conducted research all across France to locate and meticulously describe the registers held by the Huguenot consistories from the Reforma- tion to the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes.1 We know that the recording and preservation of the minutes of the consistories was not only a major tool in the exercise of Reformed ecclesiastical discipline, the instrument of its efficacy, but also a collective record and testimony before the divine of the constancy with which the Reformed Churches sought to guide the penitential progress of the faithful, between the fall into sin and the return to the way of amendment.2 The project, essential for stimulating students and researchers to produce new works on Reformed ecclesiastical discipline under the Ancien Régime in France, was ambitious and difficult to achieve, given the extreme dispersal of these registers in various collections of archives. Raymond Mentzer has nevertheless managed to uncover and inventory 309 registers and to furnish the complete list to the scholarly community together with an important introduction and an extensive bibliography in his book: Les registres des Consistoires des églises réformées de France, xvie–xviie siècles: un inventaire (Geneva: Droz, 2014). His work has directly inspired a similar un- dertaking that aims to create a directory, as complete as possible, of the regis- ters left by the Reformed consistories of French-speaking Switzerland (Suisse Romande), from the Reformation to the end of the Ancien Régime.
