The Failed Attempt to Prove Jewish Inferiority by a Skeleton Collection
Answers Research Journal 13 (2020): 331–335. www.answersingenesis.org/arj/v13/jewish_inferiority_skeleton.pdf The Failed Attempt to Prove Jewish Inferiority by a Skeleton Collection Jerry Bergman, Genesis Apologetics, PO Box 1326, Folsom, California 95763-1326. Abstract This is a review of the history of an attempt to prove Jewish racial inferiority by selecting Jews who fit the racial stereotype, then murdering them, and processing the bodies for display in a German university museum. In the end, the researchers were unable to find any evidence of Jewish racial inferiority as predicted by the anthropology and medical academic community of the time. The cost in terms of lives and suffering included over 100 innocent people who were murdered to prove a theory that turned out to be not only wrong but based on an erroneous secular philosophy, namely Darwinism. This display was one result of the rejection of the Genesis account that teaches all men are descendants of our first parents, Adam and Eve; thus all humans are of one race (the human race) and one kind (mankind). Keywords: Introduction to the Jewish Skeleton Collection History, Holocaust, Racism, Nazism, Darwin-based racism, Auschwitz, Social Darwinism, Ernst Haeckel, de Gobineau Introduction as taught by eugenicists, civilizations decline and A claim by some historians is that the Jewish fall when the superior race is generically mixed with Holocaust was caused purely by anti-Semitism. In inferior races, such as the Jews. Another professor fact, as has been well-documented, Darwinian-based who was very influential in the Nazi racial belief was racism was a central factor in causing the Holocaust the greatest avowed follower of Darwin in the world (Bergman 2010, 2012; Müller-Hill 1998; Weikart of German science, Ernst Haeckel, . -

Chemical Weapons Research on Soldiers and Concentration Camp Inmates in Nazi Germany
Chemical Weapons Research on Soldiers and Concentration Camp Inmates in Nazi Germany Florian Schmaltz Abstract In 1944 and 1945 scientists and physicians in the Allied military intelligence gathered evidence on the criminal human experiments with chemical weapons con- ducted on inmates of the Nazi concentration camps in Sachsenhausen, Natzweiler, and Neuengamme during World War II. Some of the experiments were judged during the Nuremberg Medical Trial (Case I) and French military tribunals at Metz and Lyon after liberation. Based on this evidence and on further archival sources, this paper will examine the preconditions and settings of these experiments, the perpetrators involved, and what is known about their purpose and outcome. Furthermore, the paper will raise the question if and how the experiments in the concentration camps were linked to other experiments conducted in Nazi Germany for the Wehrmacht at military research establishments such as the Gas Protection Laboratory (Heeresgasschutzlaboratorium) in Spandau, the Militärärztliche Akademie, the Heeresversuchsstelle Raubkammer, or by universities. The paper will focus on experiments with chemical agents in German concentration camps and analyze how rivalry and division of labor between the military and the SS in human experimentation with chemical agents went hand in hand. 1 Organizational Structures of Chemical Warfare Research in Germany Chemical warfare research in military and academic contexts is generally an issue of secrecy. It encompasses screening, identification of potential chemical agents suitable for use as weapons, means and methods for their large-scale industrial production, storage and deployment, as well as defensive research in toxicology on animals and humans. It also includes possible medical prophylaxis and treatments, as well as measures and technologies for detecting chemical agents and protecting soldiers and civilians against the severe injuries and health risks involved. -

Protestantism, Nationalism, and the Contest for the Corpse During the Rise of American Medicine
THE RESURRECTION AND THE KNIFE: PROTESTANTISM, NATIONALISM, AND THE CONTEST FOR THE CORPSE DURING THE RISE OF AMERICAN MEDICINE A Dissertation Submitted to the Temple University Graduate Board In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY by Tiffany DeRewal May 2020 Examining Committee Members: Katherine Henry, Advisory Chair, English Michael Kaufmann, English James Salazar, English Michael Sappol, External Member, Uppsala University ii © Copyright 2019 by Tiffany DeRewal All Rights Reserved iii ABSTRACT This dissertation examines how advocates for anatomical medicine in the early American republic defended medical training through dissection by framing anatomy as a Protestant spiritual and civic initiative. The project draws attention to prominent anatomists and anatomy advocates from the 1760s to the 1830s who did not dismiss the religious values and rhetoric of the people who rioted against dissections and bodysnatching, but instead imaginatively remodeled the Christian principles that had been wielded against them. Utilizing the public forums that were afforded to them as wealthy white Protestant intellectuals, these figures drew upon the mythologies of the new nation as well as the New Testament to defend the practice of dissection and persuade a largely Protestant public of the virtues of the dissected corpse. As this project will emphasize, they also used evangelical Protestant ideology to justify the pillaging of African American cemeteries and almshouse burial grounds for dissection subjects. Reinforcing an evangelical Protestant and portrait of nativist American citizenship, their rhetoric would ultimately play a powerful role in shaping state intervention in the regulation of medical schools and their supply of anatomical subjects. -

It is best known for its seven-volume anatomical atlas Topographische Anatomie des Menschen (translated as Atlas of topographical and applied human anatomy; often colloquially known as pernkopf atlas or simply Pernkopf), produced by Pernkopf and four artists over a 20-year period. Although it is considered a scientific and artistic masterpiece, many of its color plates have been reprinted in other publications and textbooks, in recent years it has been established that Pernkopf and the artists working for it, all of them ardent Nazis, used executed political prisoners as their subjects. The early life of Pernkopf was born in 1888 in the lower Austrian village of Rappottenstein, near the border with Bavaria. The youngest of three sons, he seemed to be considering a career in music after finishing high school in Horne. However, the death of his father, a village doctor, in 1903 forced him to take up medicine, as the death of his father led to considerable difficulties in the family, which are likely to collapse on the other side. He began his studies at the University of Vienna School in 1907. -

German Expedition to Tibet (1938-1939)
ASIA PROGRAMME GERMAN EXPEDITION TO TIBET (1938-1939) BY CHARLIE CARON PhD Student, EPHE-ICP JANUARY 2021 ASIA FOCUS #153 ASIA FOCUS #153 – ASIA PROGRAMME / January 2021 n 1938, five German scientists embarked on an extraordinary quest. They risked I their lives crossing the highest mountains in the world to reach one of the most remote kingdoms: Tibet. The scientific expedition was officially tasked with researching the zoology and anthropology of the country. But eventually, the data collected for the SS1 would serve a much darker purpose. Their secret mission was to discover the origins of the Aryan race, and the vestiges of this civilization, which would have disappeared on the roof of the world. This endeavour would allow the Nazis to rewrite history and forge a new past, allowing them to legitimize the new world they claimed to set up at the time: that of a pure Reich, to last 1,000 years. The expedition, led by Heinrich Himmler, was under the direction of the Ahnenerbe Forschungs und Lehrgemeinschaft, the Society for Research and Education on Ancestral Inheritance. This multidisciplinary research institute sought to study the sphere, the spirit, the achievements and the heritage of the Nordic Indo-European race, with archaeological research, racial anthropology and cultural history of the Aryan race. Its aim was to prove the validity of Nazi theories on the racial superiority of the Aryans over supposedly inferior races, as well as to Germanize the sufficiently pure inhabitants of the Nazi Lebensraum.
