Number of races: There are 9 races announced - according to MO 10.1, 10.2., with a striker with more than five valid races. There are no final races. Last start possibility: Friday 27th 2019 – 05:00 pm

General rules, sailing instructions

1. Rules 1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing. 1.2 RRS Appendix P, special procedures for rule 42, will apply. 1.3 RRS Appendix T, arbitration, will apply. 1.4 If there is a conflict between languages, German language take precedence for the "Prescriptions for Racing of the DSV", the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions, in all other cases the English text takes precedence.

2. Notices to competitors 2.1 The notice board is located on the east side of the club house at the terrace. Messages for all participants are posted at the notice board

3 Changes to sailing instructions 3.1 Changes of the sailing instructions are announced latest one hour before the standby of that day, if they become valid. Changes in the time schedule are announced latest at 8 pm of the day before.

4. Signals made ashore 4.1 Signals on land are placed at the flag mast of the dinghy house. 4.2 In addition to hoisting the Flag „D“ on land, the departure of the launch vessel is indicated by a horn signal. 4.3 When flag AP is displayed ashore, ‘1 minute’ is replaced with ‘not less than 30 minutes’ in the race signal AP. This changes Race Signal AP.

5. Schedule of races 5.1 Date of the races Racing days are Tuseday, September 24th Wednesday September 25th Thursday September 26th Friday September 27th 5.2 The starting signal fort the first race of the day is on 24th of September at 01:05 pm and will be posted for the following days on the official notice board. 5.3 There will be no warning signal after 27th September 05:00 pm. 5.4 To alert boats that a race or sequence of races will begin soon, the orange starting line flag will be displayed with one sound at least five minutes before the warning signal is made.

6. Class flag 6.1 The class flag is white flag with the “O-Jollen” logo.

7. Courses 7.1 The diagrams in Attachment Courses shows the courses, including the order in which the marks are to be passed, and the side on which each mark has to be left.

8. Marks, Starting line and finishing line 8.1 The marks will be tetrahedron-shaped and yellow without flags. 8.2 The starting line will be between a staff displaying an orange flag on the starting vessel and the read buoy 8.3 The finishing line is between a staff displaying a blue flag on a boat of the race committee and an orange buoy. 8.4 When a mark of a gate is missing, the remaining mark shall be left on port. 8.5 Replacement mark are white.

9. Changes of the course 9.1 To change a leg of the course the RC will bring a replacement mark in the new position and remove the original mark as soon as practicable. For a subsequent change the original mark will be used. 9.2 When the position of the windward mark will be changed, the offset mark will not be used.

10. Penalty system 10.1 WR 44.1 und WR P2.2 is changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty.

11. Time limit and set time 11.1 The target time is 60 minutes. Failure to meet the target time will not be grounds for redress. This changes rule 62.1(a). 11.2 The time limit for the first boot is 90 minutes.

12. Identification 12.1 Only the sail numbers of the entry list shall be used. 13. (DP) Equipment and measurement checks 13.1 A boat or the equipment can be inspected at any time for compliance with the class regulations and sailing instructions by the technical committee. 13.2 On the water, a boat can be instructed by a member of the race committee or the technical committee to proceed immediately to a designated area for inspection.

14. (DP) Replacement of crew or equipment 14.1 Substitution of damaged or lost equipment is only with approval of the race committee allowed. Requests for substitution shall be made to the committee at the first reasonable opportunity.

15. (DP) Advertising 15.1 Advertising according to ISAF Regulation 20 is permitted. The participating boats are obliged to offer selected and placed advertising in the bow area.

16. Scoring 16.1 For the validity of the championship, 4 races are required (MO 10.2) 16.2 If 4 or less races are sailed, all will be judged. When 5 or more races have been completed, a boats score will be the total of her race scores excluding the worst score.

17. Official boats 11.1 Jury boats are marked with “J” on white flag. Race committee boats (other than the starting vessel): code flag “W”

18. (DP) Support boats 18.1 Team leaders, coaches and other supporting personnel must affix the marking issued by the organizer to the boat and inform them in writing of the boats they are supporting. They must keep a distance of 150 meters from the race area from the time of the preparation signal for the first starting class until all the boats have passed through the finish line or the WFLs have been terminated elsewhere by the by the race committee. Except for this distance requirement are inserts for recovery in case of capsizing or a boat's failure, as long as the boat or the race committee requires assistance. Failure to comply may lead to the punishment of the supervised boats.

19. (DP) Radio Communication 19.1 Except in an emergency, a boat that is racing shall not make voice or data transmissions and shall not receive voice or data communication that is not available to all boats.

20. Protests and request for redress 20.1 Protest forms are available at the office of the race committee 20.2 The protest time limit is 60 after the last boat has finished the last race of the day or the race committee signals no more racing today, whichever is later. 20.3 Notices will be posted no longer than 30 minutes after the protest time limit.to inform competitors of hearings in which they are parties or named witnesses. Hearings can be scheduled in that way, that they can start before the protest period ends. Hearings take place in the offices of the Jury.

20.4 Notices of the race committee, technical committee or protest committee will be posted to inform the boats under rule 61.1(b). 20.5 A list of boats that have been penalized under RRS Appendix P for breaking RRS 42 will be posted. 20.6 Penalties for breaches of rules in the Notice of Race or Sailing Instructions marked [DP], can be less than a DSQ at the discretion of the international jury. 20.7 On the last day of the event a request to reopen of a hearing shall be lodged: a) within the protest time limit when the requesting party was informed in the day before. b) not later than 30 minutes after the party, which is reopening, was informed about this decision. This changes WR 66. 20.8 On the last day of racing, a request for redress on behalf of a decision of the protest committee shall be lodged within 30 minutes after the protest decision has been given. This changes RRS 62.2.

21. Arbitration RRS Appendix T 21.1 RRS T Appendix is changed: The Post Race Penalty is a 30% Scoring Penalty. 21.2 The arbitrator may be a member of the Protest Committee.

22. Security instructions 22.1 A boat that retires from a race shall inform the race committee or race office as soon as practicable. (Phone No.:+49 8806-7634) 22.2 If on an official boat code N over H is shown, all boats shall come back to the harbor as fast as possible and wait for new notices. 22.3 When Strong Wind Warning (orange light fire with 45 flashes/min) is to be seen, everybody has to wear Personal Flotation Device. 22.4 When Storm Warning (orange light fire with 90 flashes/min) is to be seen the race will be abandoned if no boat has finished the race. If some boats have finished already the race the RC may abandon the race by putting down the code blue with 3 sound signals. When boats have finished the race they will be scored and all other boats will get one point more as the last boat finished before the race was abandoned. (this change RRS A4 und A5). When there is Storm Warning, all boats shall leave the water and find a safe place immediately. 22.5 For emergency calls the race committee has the phone number 08806-7634.

23. Disclaimer of liability 23.1 It is expressly pointed out that every participant participates in the races on his own responsibility. Any liability of the ASC as organizer, the race management and possibly towage and rescue vehicles as well as their leaders is excluded.

24. Insurance 24.1 Each launching boat must have a liability insurance of EUR 3 million. The liability insurance must include regattas and regattas during storms.

The boats of the Bavarian shipping have red flags during the day and a green light during the night. They have right of way!

Appendix Course

Course

 Mark 1 and mark 2 are to be left on port.  Marks 3a/3b are a gate.  If a mark of the gate is missing the remaining mark has to be felt on port.

If mark 1 and mark 2 has to be changed the new mark substitutes mark 1 and mark 2 at the same time. That means, that there is no more mark 2.

Organizational instructions

1. The Race Office The Race Office is located in the clubhouse. It has the following opening times:

 Monday, September 23st 2019 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm  Tuesday, September 24st from 08:00 am – 10:00 am  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday one hour before the start of the race and after until one hour after the end of the protest period.

At the Race Office the participants receive the program and the sailing instructions, the checklist for the registration procedure and the survey, including the issuing of the food stamps / labels and the parking permits for the caravan sites After the races, protest forms and the lists for the registration of penalties according to WR 31 or 44 are available in the race office

2. Seerestaurant at the Casino in the ASC 2.1 The Seerestaurant in the casino offers full gastronomic operation throughout the entire regatta. Individual consumption in the rooms of the restaurant and on the terrace can be booked under the sailing number and settled at the end of the series.

3. Showers, toilets, changing rooms

3.1 These are located on the ground floor of the club house. Clothes and equipment can be locked in locks. For the operation of the locks are 2,00 € coins required.

4. Companions 4.1 Accompanying persons can receive vouchers and / or bracelets for the respective events at the host of Casino. For organizational reasons, we ask you to arrange for them at the latest by 11:00 am, for the evening event.

5. Liability It is expressly pointed out that every participant participates in the races on his own responsibility. Any liability of the ASC as organizer, the race management and possibly towage and rescue vehicles as well as their leaders is excluded. Each launching boat must have a liability insurance of EUR 1.5 million. The liability insurance must include regattas and regattas during storms.
