Kapanadze Alice Savadyan PROJECT NAME AND SITE DESCRIPTION Description of the Project The main purpose of the sub-project is the improvement of pastures watering network in Lernantsk community providing sufficient water supply for 1080 bovine cattle and 200 small cattle directly in the pasture. The following construction activities will be implemented under the proposed sub-project: Construction of one spring collection point Construction of 5 discharge, 5 observation and one air resistance chambers, Installation of 4 water ways (PE 50x2,0 ), which will be connected to drinking water pipeline with total length 160 m Installation of one water way (PE 50x2,0 ), which will be connected to new spring collection point with total length 62 m Construction of five: two- 6 m, one -12 m and two- 18m long metallic troughs- semi-pipes and double sites installed on concrete - cobblestone platform. The design for pastures watering network has been developed by the “KVE-Nakhagits” company under the contract concluded with Agricultural Project Implementation Unit. Project implementation area, community Republic of Armenia, Lori marz, Lernantsk community Project site location Subproject implementation area is located at a distance of 123 km from Yerevan city, and in 5 km from Spitak community. Four waterways will be connected to the existing water way, owned by Lernantsk community, for which reference was provided, one water way will connect to spring collection points, for which Lernantsk community obtained water use Community Agricultural Resource Management and Competitiveness Project Environmental Management Plan 2 permits from MoNP (see attached). Locations and distance for material Water for construction works will be provided by water sourcing, especially aggregates, water, cistern track. Aggregates and machinery will be obtained stones from the licensed providers within the project area. Contractor may choose to extract equipment himself, in which case contractor must obtain an extraction license prior to commencement of extraction. Metallic and PE pipes as well as all fittings will be purchased from an official supplier.
