Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Ubud. WELCOME TO UBUD, BALI! Rest of your day is at leisure to enjoy your hotel and explore Ubud. DAY 2 Early in the morning, your local guide will meet you at your hotel, where you will travel by air-conditioned jeep to the sunrise start location. There’s no sunrise quite like a Bali SUNRISE BY JEEP & sunrise! An almost surreal vivid sky filled with yellow, orange and red rays permeating HIGHLIGHTS OF CENTRAL the skyline as the sun rises to start another day. Experience all of this in a relaxed and BALI comfortable way by air-conditioned jeep. We travel out to the eastern edge of Bali for this experience to Mount Agung. After the sun has risen over the horizon, it’s time to drive down through the hills to explore a local salak fruit plantation. Sample the local wine called arak, fermented from the Salak fruit. This packs quite a punch and is sure to get you fired up for the day ahead! At 09.30 return to the hotel by air-conditioned jeep. The rest of your day will be spent exploring the highlights of central Bali. Our journey begins in the heart of Ubud at Pura Taman Saraswati, a beautiful water temple featuring classic Balinese architecture and an impressive foyer featuring ponds filled with blooming pink lotuses. Then on to to Gunung Kawi, one of Bali’s most unique archaeological sites. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, we travel to Kintamani to enjoy spectacular views of Mount Batur. The route back to your hotel takes you to our last stop, one of Bali’s holy springs called Toya Devasya. An infinity hot spring pool sitting on the edge of Lake Batur, you’ll put on your bathers and enjoy the spiritual waters that offer an unmatched, majestic panorama of Mount Batur. This is the ultimate relaxing way to end the day. B E A U T I F U L B A L I ( H I G H L I G H T S & C U L T U R E ) | S A M P L E I T I N E R A R Y ITINERARY DAY 3 Explore Bali on a day tour that includes one of the hottest Instagram spots in the world on this day full of breath-taking views and exciting adventure. BALI SWING TOUR The first stop on the tour is the Bali Swing. A series of several different swings of varying heights, the Bali Swing overlooks a lush palm tree valley and the Agung River. Here you will be truly immersed in the Balinese jungle and swing out above the beautiful green rice paddies. Then continue on to central Ubud and Puri Saren Ubud, the palace of the latest King is a not-to-miss sight that features intricate Balinese design and beautiful grounds. We journey to the nearby Ubud Art Market to see an array of traditional Balinese crafts, where you can shop for beautiful souvenirs or simply admire the artists’ works. As we depart from Ubud Center, our last stop of the day is Tegalalang. One of Bali’s most spectacular places, Tegalalang’s famous rice terraces are one of the most picturesque and iconic scenes of the island. Take photos looking down at the breath- taking scenery or explore the fields and feel the grandeur of the area before you are returned to your hotel. DAY 4 Escape the beaches of Bali for an inland experience to one of the island’s hidden waterfalls. Blangsinga Waterfall, located southeast of Ubud, is the perfect off-the- NATURAL WONDERS & beaten-path natural sight. Fed with waters from the Petanu River, Blangsinga Waterfall, TEMPLES known locally as D’Tukad Blangsinga, is surrounded by lush greenery and is often the scene of the most beautiful rainbows. Take time to swim in the fall’s pools, or explore the basin taking photos of this natural wonder. We enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before moving on to our next stop, Goa Gajah or Elephant Cave. Dating back to the 11th century, Goa Gajah offers a dramatic entrance to an in-ground cave, carved from rock and depicting entangled leaves, ocean waves, animals and the shapes of local spirits. Walk the sacred temple grounds and soak up the mystical ambiance of this special place. The day’s last stop takes us to Batuan Temple, one of the oldest temples in Bali. You will have ample time to explore the grand complex of shrines and gardens before you are returned to your hotel. Located in East Bali, within the highlands of Mount Lempuyang, BALI’S HIDDEN TEMPLES Lempuyang Temple is the day’s first stop. Our next stop is Tirta Gangga, a well-known cultural destination of Bali. We stop to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with panoramic views of Bali’s countryside, including calming rice fields and majestic Mount Agung. Our final stop and highlight of the day is the Taman Ujung water palace, the sister site of Tirta Gangga. Take time to admire the combination of Balinese and European architecture seen in the palace’s ornate pillars, statues, garden and pool features not typically seen in Bali. After plenty of time to explore this beautiful place, you will be returned to your hotel. DAY 6 Today, you will transfer to Seminyak, which takes approximately 1 hour. TRANSFER TO SEMINYAK Seminyak is Bali's most stylish and upscale beach resort area and is home to some of the island's most luxurious resorts. It also hosts a number of fine restaurants and a host of great boutiques. Fashion stores line Seminyak's streets. You can also find some of Bali's top dining spots where international chefs cook up world-class cuisine. Seminyak's Petitenget Beach offers a more secluded ambiance compared with Kuta and Legian to its south. However, after sunset, a livelier nightlife scene takes over with otspots in Seminyak having garnered quite a significant international following. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure to explore Seminyak. DAY 7 This morning is free at leisure to enjoy exploring and shopping i Seminyak or just heading to the beach for some swimming & sunbathing. SUNSET TANAH LOT After pick up from your hotel, head to the Tabanan region, home to the Tanah Lot Temple and arrive in time for the spectacular view of the sun setting behind this iconic sea temple. Perched on an offshore rock formation carved and shaped by the ocean waves, Tanah Lot is one of 7 sea temples along Bali’s coast. Depending on the tide, walk to the base of temple for a closer look at this architectural wonder as the sun sets. Tanah Lot literally means small island floating on the sea and that is exactly what the little sea temple looks like. DAY 8 You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Sanur Beach to get the speed boat to Nusa Penida. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our English-speaking driver and NUSA PENIDA DAY TOUR guide who will escort you on this day tour to visit the most spectacular beaches of Pantai Kelingking (Secret Point Beach), Pasih Uug (Broken Beach), Taman Bidadari (Angel’s Billabong) and lastly Penida Beach (Crystal Bay). Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or enjoy the picnic Lunch Box provided, depending on the boat schedules. At Crystal Bay you can swim or snorkel (extra charge for snorkeling equipment and boat). Late afternoon transfer back to the harbor to catch the boat back to Bali and transfer back to your hotel. DAY 9 Your day is free at leisure.
