[email protected] Editorial Note Pakistan Heritage is a peer-reviewed journal, published annually. This volume included the papers on different aspects of the history and archaeology of Pakistan and adjacent regions with subject matter ranging from the dawn of civilization to the British Period. Many of the recent cultural assets are highlighted, anticipating the dialogue and managerial efforts. We acknowledge the efforts of the members of the Board of Editorial Advisors, the contributors, the review and colleagues of the Department of Archaeology, Hazara University Mansehra. Special thanks are due to Dr. Abdul Hameed, Assistant Professor, of the department for technical assistance. Editors Condolence Professor Harald Hauptmann, An eminent German Archaeologist was born in Ratkau, Kreis Troppau (Germany) in April 19, 1939. He is known for his remarkable contributions to the Archaeology of East and South Turkey. He also took keen interest in the pre-Islamic archaeology of Pakistan. He served as a professor at the University of Heidelberg and remained a foreign-member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. He also remained one of the founding members of the Editorial Board of Pakistan Heritage. On August 2, 2018 we were deeply shocked and sadden to hear the death of Prof. Hauptmann. He will be truly missed by our Editorial Board, his friends and family. It is a
