Tutta La Storia Di Fast Food Tutta la storia di fast food Vi siete mai chiesti da dove arriva il fast food? Così buono ma, ahimè, così poco salutare! Cibo di strada appunto che noi tutti conosciamo anche come street food. Perché piace tanto? Semplice! Perché è gustoso e per di più viene servito velocemente. Il Fast food arriva dalle fabbriche, dove i lavoratori non avevano abbastanza tempo per gustare un pranzo in tranquillità e così, con il pasto veloce, risparmiavano anche soldi. Tutto iniziò nell’epoca dell’Antica Grecia, ve lo aspettavate? Pizza al taglio Già nell’Antica Grecia preparavano pane condito con le spezie, l’olio e con il formaggio. La pizza, così come la conosciamo tutti noi, ovviamente arriva dall’Italia, da Napoli dove hanno iniziato a prepararla verso la fine del 18° secolo ed era considerato il cibo dei poveri. A quei tempi l’ingrediente principale erano le sardine oppure un altro piccolo tipo di pesce che i pescatori locali riuscivano a prendere. Nel 1830 hanno aperto la più antica pizzeria Port’Alba a Napoli, che ancora oggi è aperta. Nella seconda metà del 20° secolo la pizza al taglio spopolò in America dove lo street food diventa una vera e propria moda. Hot dog Il würstel nel pane più amato al mondo è nato nel fine del 19° secolo in America. La leggenda narra che fu il primo macellaio, Anton Feuchtwanger, nel 1880 a St. Louis a vendere per strada i primi würstel nel pane. Il nome deriva dalle vignette dei giornali e più precidamente dal disegnatore di vignette sportive P.A. Dorgan. Fu lui a raffigurare un panino con dentro un bassotto e la scritta hot dog (letteralmente cane caldo). I venditori di street food newyorkese hanno una longeva storia di vendita di hot dog, ben più di 100 anni. Hamburger La versione antica della carne macinata in Europa arriva dalla Mongolia: qui macinavano la carne sotto la sella dei cavalli. La tartare, invece, è nata a Mosca e poi pian piano è arrivata anche in Europa. Nel 17° secolo ad Amburgo hanno iniziato a cuocere la tartare ed è così che nacque l’hamburger oppure lo steak. Ma l’hamburger di oggi nasce in America alla fine del 19°secolo, precisamente a New York o a Boston. Era conosciuto come il piatto degli operai ma pian piano si è diffuso tra tutto il popolo. La prima catena di fast food nasce nel 1921, fu la White Castle dove preparavano gli hamburger squadrati (pensare che solo l’anno scorso hanno venduto 500 milioni di hamburger!). Invece la più famosa catena di fast food nasce nel 1940. Patatine fritte Le patatine fritte nascono in Belgio, nella parte francese, alla fine del 18° secolo. Spesso friggevano, assieme alle patatine, anche le cozze che è il piatto nazionale del Belgio. Le patatine fritte, meglio conosciute come French Fries nel mondo, furono portate dai militari americani durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale mentre combattevamo in Belgio. Qui le friggono due volte e servite rigorosamente con la maionese. Sand wich Si dice che il sandwich sia nato nel 1762 nel Regno Unito. John Montagu IV, conte di Sandwich, era un accanito giocatore di carte e non aveva tempo per mangiare. Così, ordinò alla servitù di preparargli “qualcosa” messo tra due fette di pane. Un suo amico di gioco allora esclamò “lo stesso piatto che sta mangiando Sandwich” e così nacque l’omonimo panino che ancora oggi è uno dei cibi più popolari. Omelette L’omelette nasce nell’Antica Grecia, anche se qualcuno afferma che siano nate ancora prima poiché sono stati ritrovati dei reperti nelle vecchie scritture greche e romane. Nell’Antica Roma veniva chiamata alita dolcia e poi cotta nel forno con aggiunta di miele. Invece, l’omelette come la conosciamo oggi, arriva dalla Francia del XVI secolo e poi diffusa nel resto del mondo; naturalmente ognuno la fa a modo suo, in versione dolce o salata. Börek Il börek (conosciuto anche come burek o lakror) è uno dei piatti e dei sapori tradizionali della gastronomia turca. Questo piatto è diffuso soprattutto nei Balcani e in Israele. È fatto con la pasta sfoglia e con ripieno di formaggio feta oppure con carne macinata o con la variante di verdure.     Historia de la pizza La historia de la pizza comienza probablemente con la historia del empleo del pan por parte de la humanidad. Se tiene constancia de que en la antigua Grecia (cuna de los panes planos) donde ya se servía el plakuntos decorado con hierbas, especias, ajo y cebolla, en la época de Darío I el Grande (521- 486 a. C.) los soldados persas tomaban pan plano con queso fundido y dátiles por su parte superior,1 y Virgilio en la Eneida menciona un plato similar.2 Muchos autores afirman que la pizza, tal y como se conoce en la actualidad, procede de la ciudad de Nápoles (Italia) y aparece como plato popular entre los napolitanos, en algún instante no definido del siglo XVII.3 Es pues que la pizza nace de un alimento elaborado por los habitantes humildes de la ciudad de Nápoles y la composición no fuera tan variada como la actual. Los panes planos y las preparaciones fundamentadas en ellos, como la pizza, son típicos de las cocinas mediterráneas. De esta manera, se tiene la antigua "focaccia" (alimento muy popular entre los soldados romanos) que se remonta a los antiguos etruscos, la coca (que posee variantes dulces y saladas) de la cocina española, el pan pita griego y relacionado con la turca "Pide", la africana injera. Panes similares existen fuera del área del mediterráneo entre ellas se encuentra el indio Indian "paratha" y el alemán "flammkuchen". La existencia de estas variantes locales ha hecho que la denominación de la «pizza» haya quedado diluida en una infinidad de variantes regionales.
