The Association of Washington State Hispanic Chambers of Commerce is honored to host: Debate for Governor Produced by KCTS 9 and KYVE 47, in collaboration with the Yakima Herald Republic, on Tuesday, October 2 at 7:00 pm YAKIMA—The Association of Washington State Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (AWSHCC), KCTS 9, KYVE 47, and the Yakima Herald-Republic will present a live, one-hour gubernatorial debate between Jay Inslee (D) and Rob McKenna (R) from the Yakima Convention Center. The candidates will answer questions posed by a panel of journalists including KCTS 9’s Enrique Cerna and the Yakima Herald Republic’s Frank Purdy and Leah Ward. Enrique Cerna will moderate the debate. Inslee and McKenna will also be given “challenge cards” where they can directly challenge or rebut something stated by their opponent.
