Welcome to the annual Cherwell School Careers Convention.

This evening is open to all school students in Years 9-13 and their parents and carers.

We have nearly 60 stands for you to see. These are located in the Hall, the Gym, Sixth Form Study Area, Sixth Form Common Room, Training School and L1 and L2 (above the Common Room).

We strongly advise that you look through this booklet and plan your route in advance. At the end of the booklet are maps to help you do this.

 Making an appointment with Jason Davis our Careers Advisor (his office is next to Learning Support on the North Site). Ask your Deputy Year Leader if you aren’t sure.  Going to the school website and going to the Enrichment tab where you will find the Careers Centre, Careers Convention.

There will be a large number of representatives from different careers and education/training organisations at the Convention. You will not have time to speak to them all. Before you start, mark two or three of particular interest to you. Also, pick out one or two others you would like to find out more about. Useful Questions: You may want to use some of these questions to help you when talking to people at the stands. Make a note of the answers given to the questions.
