Government Defeat in Lords on Haulage Permits and Trailer Registration Bill [HL] Tuesday 17/04/2018

On 17/04/2018 the government had a defeat in the on an amendment to the Haulage Permits and Trailer Registration Bill [HL]: To require the Secretary of State to produce and present before both Houses a report on trailer-related road accidents, and to make a recommendation on whether there should be a mandatory safety testing scheme for all trailers weighing more than 750kg.
