Government Defeat in Lords on Bus Services Bill [HL] Wednesday 12/10/2016 On 12/10/2016 the government had a defeat in the House of Lords on an amendment to the Bus Services Bill [HL]: To require local authorities that propose a transport partnership scheme termed 'advanced quality partnership' under the bill to give notice to the representatives of any affected employees. This was defeat number 4 in the parliamentary session.
