Government Defeat in Lords on Identity Documents Bill Wednesday 11/17/2010 On 11/17/2010 the government had a defeat in the House of Lords on an amendment to the Identity Documents Bill: To give ID cardholders the option of being reimbursed £30 on surrender of their card. This was defeat number 4 in the parliamentary session.
