At Innsbruck you follow the motorway A 13 (Brenner autobahn) until you reach the Brennerpass, there the motorway passes into the Italian Brennerautobahn (A22). The first bigger village in South Tyrol is Vipiteno/Sterzing. From west: Via Ulm - Kempten - Füssen - Fernpass and Imst you reach Landeck. You take the Passo Resia/Reschenpass-state road and reach the Val Venosta/Vinschgau in South Tyrol. Coming from Bregenz you reach South Tyrol via Feldkirch - Arlberg - Landeck and the Passo Resia/Reschenpass. Coming from Switzerland you also can reach South Tyrol via Zürich - Landquart - Klosters - Vereinatunnel - Zernez and the Ofenpass. From east: Via Klagenfurt - Lienz - Innichen you take the state road of Val Pusteria/Pustertal. From south: If you come from Rome, Milan or Venice you have to follow the direction to Verona.
