Our Web Site You can visit our new web site at http://www.restorationspecialties.com. Throughout the year we will have different specials offered on our web page that will change periodically. As we develop new products we will post them on our web page . You can also send email to [email protected]. Ordering Information When ordering from this catalog, we ask that you include the type, year and model of the car that you are working on. It is also necessary for you to include samples of items that are close to those illustrated in the catalog. This enables us to correctly match your needed items to our stock. International Shipping For Our Overseas Customers Please specify air mail or surface for shipping. Figure approximately 25% for surface and 35% for air mail. Also, the maximum lengths allowed are either 40" or 70". Please check with your postal service for this information before ordering. Window Channel Window channel is a task that many restorers will not undertake because they feel that it is too difficult. A few simple steps need to be followed to make this job easy to complete. First, check your channel's measurements against those illustrated in the catalog. This will ensure an accurate match. Also, match up the fasteners which attach the channels. When installing you will find that all flexible channel is indeed flexible. Channels or belt strips with beads will bend in a complete circle if handled with care. To do this you must uncrimp the bead on the very end of the pieces. These are crimped closed when the pieces are cut to length. This will allow the bead room to slide past the material, resulting in a nice clean bend. Rigid division bars are held in place with tubular rivets. Removal and installation requires drilling and resetting of these rivets. By using the logic of the above steps, you will be on your way to a complete restoration. Finally, please note that the 96" lengths of channel or belt strips require oversize shipping via UPS unless you request that we cut the pieces shorter. Shipping Delays At certain times of the year, we have to travel for extended periods of time to attend the various shows. This is especially true in February, April, July, September and October. Although our shop is open, it is not operating at 100%. Please expect delays in shipping of approximately 2 to 3 weeks during these months. We ask for your patience when placing orders around the above show dates. Your order will be filled as quickly as possible. Thank you. Hummingbirds primarily eat flower nectar, tree sap, insects and pollen. The hummingbird’s fast breathing rate, fast heartbeat and high body temperature require that they eat often. They also require an enormous amount of food each day. Hummingbirds have a long tongue which they use to lick their food at a rate of up to 13 licks per second.
