DOI – 10.18421/IJQR10.03-02 Competitive advantage plays a significant role in deciding how organizations can exploit theses opportunities. So, the aim of this paper is to measure the competitive advantage of MSMEs based upon the Porter’s diamond model framework. A well- designed questionnaire is used to collect data about the various determinants of the model. Based upon the frequency of responses, percent point score (PPS) of each casual variable was calculated. By reviewing the result of this study, it is observed that competitiveness among MSME's sectors is mostly affected by market value. As is indicated by maximum PPS score e.g. 68%, followed by highly educated personnel, production and process technology (62%), further study results indicate that there is a need to increase clusters i.e. related and supported industries as depicted by low score (PPS=49%). EX ALDERMAN NEWSLETTER 137 and UNAPPROVED Chesterfield 82 By John Hofmann July 26, 2014 THIS YEAR'S DRIVING WHILE BLACK STATS: For some reason the Post-Dispatch did not decide to do a huge article on the Missouri Attorney General's release of Vehicle Traffic Stop statistical data dealing with the race of drivers stopped by police. The stats did not change that much from last year. Perhaps the Post-dispatch is tired of doing the same story over and over or finally realized that the statistics paint an unfair picture because the overall region's racial breakdown is not used in areas with large interstate highways bringing hundreds of thousands of people into mostly white communities. This does not mean profiling and racism doesn't exist, but is not as widespread as it was 30 years ago. Traffic stop statistics for cities are based on their local populations and not on regional populations. This can be blatantly unfair when there are large shopping districts that draw people from all over a region or Interstate highways that bring people from all over the region through a community. CHESTERFIELD: Once again the Chesterfield Police come off looking pretty good. The four largest racial groups in Chesterfield are: Whites (84%) Asians (9%), Hispanics (2.9%) and Blacks (2.6%). If you believe in these statistics they show the Chesterfield Police are stopping too many whites and blacks and not stopping enough Asians and Hispanics. That is what is wrong with the Missouri Collection of Traffic data. The County wide population data comes into play since there is a major Interstate Highway going through Chesterfield and four major shopping districts. -

For that reason, the Identity Theft Resource Center has been tracking security breaches since 2005, looking for patterns, new trends and any information that may better help us to educate consumers and businesses on the need for understanding the value of protecting personal identifying information. What is a breach? The ITRC defines a data breach as an incident in which an individual name plus a Social Security number, driver’s license number, medical record or financial record (credit/ debit cards included) is potentially put at risk because of exposure. This exposure can occur either electronically or in paper format. The ITRC will also capture breaches that do not, by the nature of the incident, trigger data breach notification laws. Generally, these breaches consist of the exposure of user names, emails and passwords without involving sensitive personal identifying information. These breach incidents will be included by name but without the total number of records exposed. There are currently two ITRC breach reports which are updated and posted on-line on a weekly basis. The ITRC Breach Report presents detailed information about data exposure events along with running totals for a specific year. Breaches are broken down into five categories, as follows: business, banking/credit/financial, educational, Government/Military and medical/healthcare. The ITRC Breach Stats Report provides a summary of this information by category. -

Abstract Background: In June 2014, the Australian government agreed to the voluntary implementation of an interpretive ‘Health Star Rating’ (HSR) front-of-pack labelling system for packaged foods. The aim of the system is to make it easier for consumers to compare the healthiness of products based on number of stars. With many Australians consuming fast food there is a strong rationale for extending the HSR system to include fast food items. Objective: To examine the performance of the HSR system when applied to fast foods. Design: Nutrient content data for fast f o o d menu items were collected from the websites of 13 large Australian fast-food chains. The HSR was calculated for each menu item. Statistics describing HSR values for fast foods were calculated and compared to results for comparable packaged foods. -

This manual provides a list of meals from local outlets which are designed to be consumed whilst performing active firefighting duties – this should not be used as a guide on every day food choices. Meals have been developed from a number of outlets known to be widely distributed through NSW. Which meal to choose? Each outlet has a section in this manual outlining available meal options. The contact details for each NSW outlet are available in the Meal Guide Store Locations document. Each meal option page provides guidance on selecting main, side and drink options, whilst allowing consideration of food preferences of firefighters. For example, with the food options available below at KFC: For 20 personnel an appropriate order would be 20 Zinger Fillet Burgers, 20 Potato and Gravy’s (regular), 20 Coleslaws, 20 dinner rolls and 20 orange juices. Therefore each person would receive 1 main, and 3 sides and a drink. Breakfast options Suitable breakfast options are available from McDonalds, Oporto and Hungry Jacks food outlets. Breakfast options for these outlets are listed at the top of their meal option page. Vegetarian options Vegetarian meal items are highlighted in green on the page of each food outlet. Please note that not all food outlets offer vegetarian items, or insufficient items may be available to create a suitable meal. In this case local arrangemen ts will have to be made to fulfill the nutritional needs of any vegetarian personnel. The same approach should be taken for people with other dietary requirements (eg Halal and Kosher). -
