Vasyl Savchenko was born on 12 January 1994 in , . From 2008 – 2012 studied at the Lviv College of Decorative and Applied Art named by , at the Faculty of Art painting. 2012 – 2014 received a Bachelor's degree in Lviv National Academy of Arts, department of Monumental painting. 2014 – 2017 received a Master's degree in Arts in Lviv National Academy of Arts, department of Monumental painting 2015 – 2018 received a Master's Degree in Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts, in Graphic Art department, Wroclaw, Poland. From 2018 – began teaching career at the studio of Digital Technique on the Department of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Art in Gdansk, Poland; 2018 – participated in the author's project of Kateryna Filyuk, which was accepted to the short list of the Ukrainian pavilion for the Venice Biennial. From 2019 – became a communication supervisor in Savchenko Gallery, Gdańsk, Poland.

One of them was made in collaboration with Nikita Viska. 2014 – “GiARTino - Ogrod Sztuki”, “Department of Fine Arts Intermedia”, Torun, Poland; During five days one mural object was made on the territory of Art Department. 2013 – Ukrainian Catholic University, Sinji Vrh, Slovenia; During one-week cycle graphic works was made in etching and mezzotint techniques. 2013 – “W kregu pogranicza”, Hadle Szklarskie, Poland; During ten days two landscape paintings on canvas and series of big-size works on the cotton fabric which was found in the symposia's space were created. In addition, one mural object was performed.

Residence: 2019 – (19-18 August), artistic residence in Maslo Art Space, Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine; During two weeks I work with one big size of drawing 3 × 4,5 meters long, one drawing object 50 × 200 × 120 cm. Technique: charcoal on paper. Works become a part of cycle “MP”. 2016 – (11-24 August) the Forum “PohranKult: HalitsiyaKult”, graphic residence “Workshops. Pavlo Makov and Graphic Artists”, Kharkiv, Ukraine; During two weeks series of 100 mobilegraphy photos was made, representing circle objects of the city starting from the lamps and ending with metropolitan signs. 2016 – (11-24 August) the Forum “PohranKult: HalitsiyaKult”, mural residence “Turboart”, Kharkiv, Ukraine; During two weeks a mural object, measured with more than 300 square meters, was created in collaboration with Keno Kikit and Denis Metelin on the territory of Turboatom factory in Kharkiv. This work was dedicated to the human as the main source of energy.

Curatorial workshops: 2020 – one day of introductory course from easel graphic art for beginners and advanced in aquatint techniques in a group of 8 people, in the cultural space of "TuBaza", Gdynia; 2020 – five days of intermedia symposium and workshops of artistic observation in a group of 27 people, conducted with doctor Karol Lewalski. The symposium was held in the open air by the beach in Brzeżno in Gdansk; 2020 – one day of an introductory course from easel graphic art for beginners and advanced in etching techniques in a group of 6 people, in the cultural space "TuBaza", Gdynia; 2019 – five days of introductory course from easel graphic and workshops in technics of linocut, calgraphy and technique of mixing and using transparent graphic paint with the group of 36 people, with Edyta Kowalewska assist. Symposium was taking place in Academy of Fine art in Gdansk, Poland; 2019 – two days of introductory course from easel graphic and workshops in technics of suicide linocut withe the group of 10 people, culture center “TuBaza”, Gdynia, Poland; 2019 – with artist Serhiy Savchenko and Doktor Kamila Bednarska, we had advanced certificate workshops and courses with a group of 19 people. During nine days I worked with various techniques of easel graphics and painting: linocut (technology of suicide plate), flat printing on the gelatin, the printing of offset plates. The event was taking place at culture center “TuBaza”, Gdynia, Poland; 2018 – was supervisor of Yevhenia Liubchyk (the winer of the 5-th Graphic competition “The Index of Mariusz Kazana”), in Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Arts and Design in Wroclaw, Poland; 2015 – with Serhiy Savchenko and Eduard Belsky, we had advanced workshops and courses with a group of 17 people. For a one-week time we worked with five easel graphic technics: etching, dry needle, monotype, mokulito, and serigraphy. The event was taking place in Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Center for Arts Innovation center building; 2016 – workshops and consultations with Profesor Endi Poskovic from University of Michigan, USA. Art management: 2020 – participant and graphic conference lead as part of the "Digital Confrontation" project, subject of the lecture "Presentation of the Studio - Proficiency with Time"; 2020 – coordinator and co-curator of the inter-university project "Digital Confrontation" organised by the Faculty of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. The project was attended by digital graphics studios from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Katowice and University of Rzeszuw, the exhibition took place in the large hall of the main building of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland; 2019 – supervisor, representative of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk in the interdisciplinary project “Summer Academy 2019”, organised by the Pomeranian Regional Planning Office, the topic of this year's edition was the commune of Czersk, 5 options of the development and promotion of public space made by students of four universities from Gdansk were presented; 2019 – jury member of the competition “Best Student's Graphics of the Year” in Academy of Fine Art in Gdansk, the exhibition took part in the gallery “Sztuka Wyboru”, Gdansk, Poland; 2019 – coordinator of the Graphic Art Department in the group exhibition “Wpis Ukończony”, cu- rated by dr. hub.
