Non-Diver Package CANNOT be converted to Diver Package once guest has arrived at the island. Guest with certified dive license who wish to go diving at Mataking Island shall be charged at RM 100 per dive regardless of boat / shore dive (exclude equipment rental @ RM 85 per set per day). *purchase direct dives Any children who is a certified diver shall have to pay full diver rates regardless of their age and parents are to be held responsible for their child at all times. Promotion rates are applicable for single traveler, Single Supplement Surcharge of 50% on top of the above rates applies for staying alone in a twin sharing room. Not applicable to any other ongoing promotions. 10% Deposit / Reservation Fee has to be paid once an official booking has been confirmed within 7 days (Non-Refundable/ Non-Transferable). The balance or full payment must be settled at least 30 days prior to the check-in date. All types of activities being offered by the company on the island especially dive activities / Sipadan trip is subjected to weather conditions / poor visibility and also diver's own physical status (e.g.: injuries, intoxication, hangovers, and etc). Therefore, we reserve the final decision and rights to either proceed or abort any activities / dives for any safety reason. 2 times postponement of dates is subjected to room availability until 31st December 2021. Advance notice at least TWO weeks before original check-in date. For booking of 2 pax, it must comply with existing land and boat schedule available. Otherwise the booking can possibly be rescheduled or cancelled. Paid booking will be refunded in full if booking is being cancelled in such circumstance. Snorkelling guide or Dive Master / Dive Instructor will be provided during the trip. Excludes diving / snorkelling equipment. It takes 80 minutes of speed boat ride to get to Sipadan Island from Mataking Island. However, the nearby islands of Southern Philippines have had some problems with militant fundamentalist Muslim groups – there have been riots and violence on Mindanao and the Tawi Tawi Islands and isolated episodes of kidnapping of people from Sabah in the past 10 years or so.
