Gratitude also goes to all those others who have helped, in whatever small or grand way, to make the Show a success. 2 IMPORTANT NOTES FOR EXHIBITORS Public Liability Insurance All exhibitors must have their own Public Liability Insurance and must produce a copy of this to the appropriate section organiser. Entrance to Show for Exhibitors All exhibitors will be charged the full entry fee upon entering the show site unless they produce an exhibitor’s pass at the gate. Exhibitors can obtain an appropriate exhibitor’s pass from their section leader. Exhibitors are advised to do this at least one week prior to the show. Transportation of Livestock Exhibitors are reminded that the welfare of livestock during transit is covered by a The Welfare of Animals (Transport) (England) Order 2006 (SI 2006/3260). *LOCAL Entries A ‘Local’ exhibitor is a person who lives, owns or rents a property, in one of the following parishes: Alstonefield, Butterton, Elkstones, Fawfieldhead, Ford, Grindon, Hartington (Town Quarter), Heathylee, Hollinsclough, Ilam, Longnor, Onecote, Quarnford, Sheen, Thorpe, Warslow, Waterhouses (including Calton, Cauldon, Swinscoe, Blore & Waterfall). Entries welcome from 8.30am to 10.30am. No item may be withdrawn from display before 2pm. Each entry should be the exhibitor's own work and it should have been created within the last five years. SPECIAL NOTES FOR CATTLE CLASSES: All cattle passports must accompany each animal. Open classes are restricted to stock that is quartered within a 30mile radius of Butterton. This area takes in such places as Ashbourne, Bakewell, Brailsford, Buxton, Chapel en le Frith, Congleton, Macclesfield, Matlock, Uttoxeter and the Potteries. Local classes are for people who live, own or rent property in the Manifold Parishes which is set out at the front of this schedule. Entries should reach the section organiser no later than one week prior to the show. All animals must come from a holding that has had no movement of Foot & Mouth Susceptible livestock onto the holding from which they have left in the six days prior to the day of the show All exhibitors must conform to the requirements of the General Public Licence. All transporting vehicles must have been cleansed and disinfected prior to moving stock to the show. All exhibitors must conform to the requirements of the General Public Licence. All transporting vehicles must have been cleansed and disinfected prior to moving stock to the show. All entries should be accompanied by a completed movement licence. There will be an MV accredited Sheep section. All MV accredited Stock must be accompanied by a valid certificate which should be handed to the Section organiser prior to unloading. The Section organiser will then direct all competitors to the MV accredited unloading area.
