Our collection of paper materials includes continuities, scripts, tie-in-books, scrapbooks, press releases, newsreel summaries, publicity notebooks, press books, lobby cards, theater programs, production notes, and much more. These items have been acquired through copyright deposit, purchased, or gifted to the division. How to Use this Inventory The inventory is organized by box number with each letter representing a specific box type. The majority of the boxes listed include content information. Please note that over the years, the content of the boxes has been described in different ways and are not consistent. The “card” column used to refer to a set of card catalogs that documented our holdings of particular paper materials: press book, posters, continuity, reviews, and other. The majority of this information has been entered into our Merged Audiovisual Information System (MAVIS) database. Boxes indicating “MAVIS” in the last column have catalog records within the new database. To locate material, use the CTRL-F function to search the document by keyword, title, or format. Paper and manuscript materials are also listed in the MAVIS database. This database is only accessible on-site in the Moving Image Research Center. It gave military practitioners and international experts from different regions of Conduct of Hostilities: the world and with different backgrounds the opportunity to examine the law and the practice governing the conduct of hostilities as applicable to current/ongoing armed conflicts, with a particular focus on the future and the the Practice, challenges posed by new technologies. Recent developments in warfare such as cyber warfare or the growing use of the Law and the Future autonomous weapons in combat situations, elicit debates not only in relation to the current application of IHL, but also to possible future developments and scenarios. Such debates are essential to ensure that international norms and standards are rigorously respected in future conflicts.     DAL 1893: PARACADUTISMO A BRESCIA UN OMAGGIO AI PARACADUTISTI BRESCIANI E NON SOLO A CURA DI GINO COMPAGNONI Edizione riveduta e corretta 4 gennaio 2019 1 Sono pochi i paracadutisti che conoscono l’intensa storia del paracadutismo bresciano, a partire (1893) dal nostro precursore, Gerolamo Baronio. Ritengo quindi un dovere lo scrivere questa schematica nota riferita, in particolare, al paracadutismo bresciano con una sola aspirazione : favorire, come recita l’articolo 2 dello Statuto della nostra Associazione: l’amore e la fedeltà alla Patria e la glorificazione dei Paracadutisti caduti nell’adempimento del loro dovere, in guerra ed in Pace, perpetuandone la memoria. La prima Sezione bresciana, formata da Reduci della Folgore – Nembo, ebbe come prima sede a San Polo (Brescia) ed ebbe come Presidente il Cav. Carmelo Sorsoli, vice Presidente il Cav. Luigi Mariotto e Presidente Onorario il Gen. di C.A. Aldo Magri. La sezione, che subì anche la espulsione dall’A.N.P.d’Italia, per oltre dieci anni fu privata del gruppo dirigente. (vedi pag. 15, 23 e 24). Riprese vigore a partire dal 1996 con le concrete iniziative del Sergente Paracadutista Mauro SCARATTI e di Mario REGAZZI e Luigi GHIDINELLI. Presidente fu il sottotenente Paracadutista Guglielmo SALVO. 2 Brescia negli anni ’70 risultava la città che mandava più allievi alla Scuola paracadutisti di Pisa, e alimentava la Brigata Folgore di stanza a Livorno. Divenne la quarta Sezione a livello nazionale come numero di soci (circa 300). 3 GLORIE DELLA SEZIONE Il Sottotenente FRANCO BAGNA: medaglia d’oro al Valor Militare alla Memoria caduto a Poggiorusco il 12 aprile 1945.
