Download Itinerary Honeymoon on the Swiss Mountain Peaks – 7 days / 6 nights Places visited: Interlaken, Lucerne, Gstaad, Zurich and Schaffhausen Have a heavenly Honeymoon on the top of the Swiss Mountain Peaks with eternal snow in one breath-taking itinerary atop Mount Titlis, Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe and Glacier 3000. Continue your visit to the magnificent waterfall of the river Rhine. The Rhine Falls here is the largest waterfall in Europe. Located on the High Rhine between the municipalities of Neuhausen am Rheinfall and Laufen-Uhwiesen, near the town of Schaffhausen, is just an hour away from Zurich. Switzerland is rated as one of the happiest countries in the world - a place where paradise comes in the form of lakeside towns and beautiful mountains, sometimes in the same place. Lookalike towns, inviting winters, waterfalls, natural beauty, glaciers and great sunset views will leave you breathless. This perhaps is the best place to be during the happiest time of the life. Do not forget to buy her a “Swiss Watch” and/or “Swiss Chocolate”! Itinerary Day 1 | Zurich – Lucerne Upon arrival at Zurich airport and after customs formalities, you will have to go to the Zurich Airport railway station, which is 2 levels below the airport itself. Use your transfer card to travel to Lucerne (it takes approx 1 hr and trains are available frequently). A stunning setting, world-famous sights, exciting modern architecture, endowed museums and much more make Lucerne a thrilling city to visit! Overnight in Lucerne. Day 2 | Excursion to Mt. Titlis After breakfast, depart for rail trip to Engelberg. Going to the top, in the world's first revolving gondola called Rotair is like being an eagle, exploring the landscape of the glacier world. Titlis Rotair offers various attractions like riding the Ice Flyer chairlift over glacier crevasses, having fun while snow tubing at the Titlis Glacier Park. Overnight in Lucerne. (B) Day 3 | Lucerne to Interlaken After breakfast, Rail journey over the Brünig Pass to Interlaken situated at the foot the famous trio of peaks, the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau. Overnight in Interlaken. (B) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Travel Dynamics India Day 4 | Excursion to Glacier 3000 After breakfast, board the train to Zweisimmen and change to the MOB train to the noble city of Gstaad. Take the postal bus to Col du Pillon (Glacier 3000) where you board the panoramic cable car which takes you to the eternal snow at 3000 metres in just 15 minutes. From the mountain top station you have access to all the glacier adventures. Experience the countryside with optional add-ons such as a dog-sled ride, a tour with the snow bus, a spectacular hike along a well- marked trail or enjoy stunning views of the most famous alpine peaks – Jungfrau, Matterhorn and Mont Blanc. Overnight in Interlaken. (B) Day | 5 Excursion to Jungfraujoch After breakfast, depart for the highest train station in Europe (Top of Europe) – “Jungfraujoch”. You need to reach OST station to board your train to Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald The Jungfrau railways, takes you via Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger Nordwall, to the Jungfraujoch. At 3454m/11’333 ft it is the highest railway station in Europe. Breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Remember, this place is very cold even during summers. Get your walking shoes, sun glasses, woollens and hand gloves to remain comfortable Don’t miss the Snow Fun Park and the Ice Palace. Return back to your hotel via the same route. Overnight in Interlaken. Day 6 | To Zurich & Rhine Fall Depart Interlaken to enjoy another glory of Switzerland. Take an early train to reach Zurich Main station and change to reach Schaffhausen. Take bus No. 1 to Neuhausen am Rheinfall and finally walk (10 min.) to reach Schlössli Wörth. Sound of water falling start coming as you walk towards the great fall. The rock in the middle of the falls is the highlight of the Rhine and is illuminated during the big fireworks daily after sunset. You may like to take a boat ride to enjoy more. Later return to Zurich for overnight stay.
