AFAD reported that during the period of 29-30 May 2014, a total of 296 Syrians were admitted and registered in the camps and 273 Syrians voluntarily returned to Syria. Malatya ● In Karkamis camp, officials informed UNHCR that there are about 40 people (5 families) Beydagi staying in a mosque in Karkamis town and another 12 persons (2 families) living in the nearby 7,258 village. It is reported that the newly-arrived families living in the village have come from Aleppo. K.Maras The camp officials informed UNHCR that, due to space shortages in the camp, they cannot Adıyaman admit new arrivals. However, the camp officials also stated that they are in contact with other camps as well as AFAD Hq. to find space in other camps for these newly-arrived families and to Merkez Merkez 16,361 9,804 transfer them to one of the other camps. In the meantime, the Karkamis camp will provide Adana medical assitance as needed to these families through the camp's health facilities. Mardin Osmaniye Şanlıurfa Nusaybin ● Camp officials in Karkamis informed UNHCR that social workers there have conducted a 5,104 Cevdetiye Gaziantep Nizip 2 camp survey, visiting all the tents/households and have identified the physically disabled 9,306 Nizip 1 5,156 Saricam 10,766 Viransehir people. During the past week about 14 Container Camps Under Construction Yayladagi 1 Yayladagi 2 individuals have been referred to the camp by local authorities and were admitted to the 2,800 2,939 waiting area of the camp until they can be accommodated in an available tent. ● In Adiyaman, more than 120 Syrians requested to be admitted to the camp.
