Women & Children (Boys&Girls <18 years) Men 18 years and above Highlights ● On 27 January 2014, AFAD - the Disaster and Emergency Management Agency of Government of Turkey - announced that the total number of Syrians registered and assisted in 22 camps located in 10 provinces was 214,968 including 104 Syrians receiving medical treatment in hospitals. AFAD reported that during the period of 26-27 Jan 2014, a total of 499 Syrians were admitted and registered in the camps and 199 Syrians have voluntarily returned to Syria.

● UNHCR was informed by camp officials of , Nizip-1 and Karkamis that those who were transferred Malatya Beydagi to these camps during last weekend are still being accommodated in the rub hall tents until further 7,207 instruction from AFAD for their transfer to other camps where space is available. Reportedly about 1,440 Syrians were admitted from Jarablus border gate when ISIS took the control of Jarablus town. UNHCR is in contact with both local officials as well as with central government officials for the placement and registration of these people in camps where they are accommodated.
