THOMAS to make a statement regarding status of implementation of recommendations contained in the Eighteenth Report of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution on Demands for Grants (2011-12) pertaining to the Department of Consumer Affairs. ———— 94 MOTION FOR ELECTION TO THE CENTRAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE CONSTITUTED UNDER SECTION 3 OF THE BUILDING AND OTHER CONSTRUCTION WORKERS (REGULATION OF EMPLOYMENT AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE) ACT, 1996 SHRI MALLIKARJUN KHARGE to move the following Motion:— “That in pursuance of clause (b) of sub-section 2 of Section 3 of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 (No. 27 of 1996) read with sub-rule 2 of Rule 11 of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Central Rules, 1998, this House do proceed to elect, in such manner as the Chairman may direct, one Member from amongst the Members of the House to be a member of the Central Advisory Committee.” ———— LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS Bill for consideration and passing FURTHER CONSIDERATION of the following motion moved by The Whistle Shri V. Narayanasamy on the 29th March, 2012:–– Blowers Protection Bill, “That the Bill to establish a mechanism to receive complaints relating to 2011. disclosure on any allegation of corruption or wilful misuse of power or wilful misuse of discretion against any public servant and to inquire or cause an inquiry into such disclosure and to provide adequate safeguards against victimization of the person making such complaint and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto, as passed by Lok Sabha, be taken into consideration.” SHRI V.
