Ambassador Gabriela Shalev is Israel’s fourteenth Permanent Representative to the United Nations. She began her tenure on September 3, 2008, marking the first time a woman was appointed to this post. Previously, Ambassador Shalev served as President of the Academic Council and Rector of Ono Academic College in Israel. Until her early retirement in 2002, she American Friends of Rabin Medical Center was a full professor of contract law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and has taught contract law and comparative law in universities across the United States, invites you to a luncheon to benefit Europe, and Canada.
