Through the International Karting Commission (CIK-FIA), it awards the only official titles of FIA Karting World and European Champion at the end of the most prestigious Events, which are organised in collaboration with its Promoter RGMMC Group and the National Sporting Authorities (ASN) concerned. n addition to motor sport, the FIA is also I concerned with automobile mobility and tourism, with safety as a priority. Christian Lundgaard escorted the field out onto a hot and sunny Silverstone circuit, with a track temperature of 42 degrees. Lapping at 1:40.962, Felipe Drugovich led the first round of fast runs, beating Dan Ticktum’s Free Practice topping time by more than a second. There was enough life left in the medium Pirellis for another flyer and Piastri was determined to make the most of it, lunging to first with 1:39.854. Meanwhile, Drugovich was bumped down to third by Ticktum, although the Carlin driver remained half a second off Piastri. After a stint in the pits for fresh rubber, the field returned to the track with just a second separating the top 12. Piastri couldn’t make any improvements on his quickest time, but neither could his rivals, with the Australian retaining his half a second buffer in first. Zhou was left thanking his lucky stars as the UNI-Virtuosi racer crossed the line just moments before a Red Flag ended the session.

    COMMISSION INTERNATIONALE DE KARTING - FIA INVITATION TO TENDER FOR SOLE SUPPLY CONTRACT TENDER SUMMARY AND ADDITIONAL TENDER REQUIREMENTS The FIA's objective is to select an exclusive supplier of tyres whose task it will be to ensure the production and delivery of the tyres to the competitors in the 2011 CIK- FIA Championships. Interested parties are hereby invited to tender to become the exclusive supplier of tyres to the competitors in the 2011 CIK-FIA Championships. The selected tenderer will be invited to enter into a contract with the FIA that will establish the terms of the tenderer's appointment as exclusive supplier. The exclusive supplier will supply the products directly to the teams (not to the FIA) under terms and conditions to be agreed. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the "Invitation to tender for sole supply contract – tendering instructions" available on FIA's website www.fia.com. The FIA reserves the right to make amendments to this invitation to tender at any time and to issue a new invitation to tender. Publication of invitation to tender 15 October 2010 Tender submission date 22 November 2010 Opening date 23 November 2010 Notification of decision as to selection of tenderer 13 December 2010 Additional Tender Requirements Tenders must be sent to the address specified in the tendering instructions.
