On 04/22/2018 at 00:35 hours, Officer Calvin Cooper (#877) reported a memo at 3905 Creekview Ln. Upon arrival I Officer Cooper did not observe any signs of a disorder and did not hear any disturbances. I Officer Cooper knocked very hard and loud and on the residence and could not get a response.

On 04/22/2018 at 01:07 hours, Officer Benjamin Dessalines (77570) reported a memo at 6231Perimeter Dr. Upon my arrival, I met with Mr. Jordan Etchison who stated that he observed a basket full of what appears to be miscellaneous lady’s clothing laying in the parking lot. Mr. Jordan stated that he just wanted to report it to police. Police searched the area for the possible suspect but nothing located at this time. No further at this time.

On 04/22/2018 at 01:32 hours, Officer Creighton, Trevor (73490) reported a memo at 2000 E 23rd Street Room#119.

Once on scene police spoke with a Mr. Paul Sparks who stated his upstairs neighbor dropped a glass bottle of alcohol on the sidewalk in front of his door and wanted them to clean it up. At this point police made contact with a party at room #219 who stated he was sorry and got a plastic bag and cleaned up the mess while police were on scene.

Nothing further to report. No criminal activity observed.

On 04/22/2018 at 00:56 hours, Officer Veronica Thomas (75141) reported a memo at 1908 Walker Ave. Police were on a traffic stop at 2000 E. 3rd when Harvey White approached police stating he and his mother were in a verbal disorder. Mr. White stated he wanted police to help his mom calm down. Mr. Harvey stated he was schizophrenic and just wanted to go home. Police took Mr. White to 1908 Walker St and spoke to his mother. Mr. Whites mother stated she was doing her hair and listening to music when her son stated he wanted her to turn it down. After their verbal disagreement Mr. White left the home. After police spoke with both parties the issue was resolved. No Further.

On 04/22/2018 at 03:12 hours, Officer Veloz (75390) reported a field interview at 5439 highway 153 n. Police were called to the scene due to the management at taco bell. The manager stated that there was a vehicle ) that was occupied by two people. The manager stated that the vehicle had been there for several hours and wanted Police to check it out. Upon arrival to the scene, Police spoke with the two individuals identified as Mark Fredrick and Genea Davis. Both individuals stated that their truck was broken down and that Mark was attempting to fix the batter. Shortly after making contact the vehicle started without any problems. Both individuals were checked in the system for any active warrants. Neither had any. They moved along in their fixed truck. Nothing further at this time.

On 04/22/2018 at 04:25 hours, Officer T. Perocchi (79535) responded to a noise complaint at 7702 Canyon Drive. Police met with Dean, who stated that her neighbor at 7711Canyon Drive plays music that can only be heard when it is in her own home. She explained that when you go outside, you cannot hear the music but when you return into her residence the music continues. She described the music using racial slurs and pointed out that her neighbor was black multiple times. She said the music changes to spiritual music when her boyfriend is home. At one point, the complainant asked the officer to listen to the music in the back corner of her room. She stated that she believes her neighbor has a device set up that only plays music in her house to target her. Police followed up with her neighbor who was identified as Erica Owens. She explained that she was sleeping all night and was not participating in any activities that would inconvince her neighbor. Police explained to Owens that Dean's behavior will be documented.

On 04/22/2018 at 21:46 hours, Officer Jonathan Scoggins (75428) wrote a continuation/supplement for a Vandalism at 4111 12th Ave. I arrived at the above address making contact with Kala Swindle who informed me her ex-boyfriend "David Cosby", came by the address yelling out his car window at her. David had his current girlfriend with him, and Kala just wanted the incident notated due to warrants being taken out on David earlier in the day.

Dave stated that his younger brother, Jared Jackson, was moving out and he wanted police to stand by a second. Everything was fine upon departure, and Jared was packing his belongings. Dave stated he no longer needed police.

On 04/22/2018 at 17:25 hours, Officer Joshua Blaine Price (76315) responded to a Shoplifting at 490 Greenway View Dr. Upon arrival I was met by Sydney Tillman, WalMart employee (Loss Prevention). She stated that two parties had came into the store and walked out with the listed items. LP employees attempted to chase the subjects but the parties jumped into a White Chevy Trailblazer and sped off. No tag number. Unknown direction of travel from Greenway Dr. Ms. Tillman stated that the female party served as a lookout while the male party pushed the property out in a shopping cart. The parties were not identified. Police will get a copy of the photos to push out for identification. Nothing further at this time.

There was no clear description of the driver. Nothing further at this time.

On 04/22/2018 at 19:13 hours, Officer Layne, Dakota (77578) reported a memo at 705 Gentry Rd. Police responded to a 911call of suspicious vehicle at 705 Gentry Rd, the reporting party informed dispatch that he did not want to see police. Police found a black jeep compass matching the description of the suspicious vehicle at 8351E Mountain Ln directly behind 705 Gentry Rd. Police approached the vehicle, the driver a black male was talking to white male who stated he lived at the address, the white male showed police his drivers license which confirmed he lived at that 8351E Mountain Ln. Police determined that there was nothing suspicious with the party going on in the area, visiting a friend at that address police then left the area. Police received another call on 911about 3 minutes after police left the area Mr. Millsaps was complaining that an officer never came to his house, dispatched informed Mr. Millsaps that he stated that he requested not to see police, he then hung up. Mr. Millsaps called 911about 5 minutes later requesting EMS due to his wife having chest pain due to the suspicious vehicle, EMS and police responded while EMS was checking the status of Mr. Millsaps wife he was informing police the vehicle was a boy his 18 year old daughter knows and he wanted police to scare him away. Mr. Millsaps informed police that he has had discipline problems with his daughter and that she was not allowed to have boys coming to the house. Mr. Millsaps was informed that 911was for emergency calls only and not for him calling to report the neighbor is talking to someone his 18 year old daughter. Mr. Millsaps was informed that he could be charged if he calls 911calls in nonemergency situations. Mr. Millsaps stated that he was unaware that there was a non emergency number for police. Police gave Mr. Millsaps the nonemergency number and suggested he put the number on his refrigerator. Mr. Millsaps requested police to inform his 18 year old daughter she had to follow his rule or get out of the house. Police refused and informed Mr. Millsaps how to obtain an eviction notice if he wanted his 18 year old daughter out of the residence. No further.

On 04/22/2018 at 20:50 hours, Officer G.Stroud (75386) responded to a Theft from Building at 901Carter St. Once on scene I made contact with the complainant. She said a former Employee (Reggie) who used to wash dishes let himself in an unlocked side door. He then grabbed a bottle of an unknown chemical agent and a roll of trash bags. He was then confronted by another employee who was able to get the items back. Reggie then continued walking South.

Mr. Wilbourn stated that he went inside to watch a movie with his kids but when they came back out he noticed someone pried his driver’s window out and stole his wife’s purse .Mr. Wilbourn stated he did not know who took the purse nor did he see anyone in the area when he came out just wanted to report the incident for insurance reasons

On 04/23/2018 at approximately 03:45 hours, Officer Caleb Brooks (62866) responded to a suspicious person call at 4111 12th Ave. Upon arrival police encountered a black male wearing black pants with a blue shirt around the back of the house. The male identified himself as Courtney McCoy ) and stated that this was his friend's house. Police then had the caller, Kala Swindle, walk out who verified his story. She then stated that it was fine for him to be there. No further.

On 04/23/2018 at 05:00 hours, Officer Benjamin Dessalines (77570) reported a memo at 4903 Brainerd Rd. Upon arrival, police locate an unknown (W/M) sitting behind Waffle House on 4903 Brainerd Rd. Police proceeded to make contact with the unknown party who was identified as Mr. Kurt Gibson. Mr. Gibson stated to police that he is homeless and he is just trying to stay out of the rain and when the rain stops he will be going to a program that can help him get off the street. No further at this time.

On 04/23/2018 at 05:40 hours, Officer J. Cannon 1089 responded to a single vehicle that had run off the road at 17480 I 24 WB. Once on scene I spoke to Mr. Allen who stated he hydroplaned and lost control of his vehicle. Mr. Allen's vehicle was towed out of the median by United Wrecker at which point Mr. Allen or police saw no damage to the vehicle. Mr. Allen stated he did not want to file an accident report and wished to drive his vehicle to his destination. No further police action taken. Nothing further to report.

On 04/23/2018 at 07:10 hours, Officer Benjamin Dessalines (77570) responded to an MVT/Motorcycle at 3411Alta Vista Dr. Upon my arrival, I met with Mr. Joshua Schklar who stated someone stole his vehicle Tn license plate ) Black Toyota Corolla 2008. Mr. Schklar stated that this morning his wife went out to clean his car and when he went outside to go to work that’s when he realized someone stole his vehicle. Mr. Schklar stated that he does not know who stole it, however, he believes whoever stole his vehicle did it right after his wife left for work. The vehicle was entered in NCIC#: V020240158. He says that sometime during the night, an unknown party entered his 2014 Nissan Rogue and ransacked it. He says that as best an he can tell there was no damage to the vehicle and there was nothing of value taken. He says he believes that his wife failed to lock the vehicle.

The white Honda Accord then followed Mr. Fuhrwerk while blowing the horn. Mr. Fuhrwek stopped at the Raceway, 2528 Broad Street, and the white Honda left the scene.

He says that he does not have the plate number available at this time, but, insisted on a report being on file.

The owner was notified of the location and responded to the scene. Kandis Brown( ) took control of her vehicle at this address. The suspect was not located at the time of the report. The vehicle was removed from N.C.I.C.

On 04/24/2018 at 09:17 hours, Officer Chad Rowe (60172) wrote a continuation/supplement for a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 138 Colony Cir. On 04/24/2018 I was assigned this case. I discovered the vehicle was recovered and a warrant was issued, so this case is pending the arrest of the suspect.

On 04/23/2018 at 09:38 hours, Officer Tallant (61913) responded to a see complainant at 3101 14th Ave. Upon arrival, Mr. Michael Fedraw stated he is upset because vehicles are stopping near his home in the morning hours and honking their horn. He stated the house across the street at 3202 14th Av. is where this is occurring. He asked police to speak with the resident and have them put a stop to it. Police spoke to the resident at 3202 14th Av. and made them aware of the complaint. The resident stated he'll look into it and thanked police for being professional. No further police assistance needed at this time.

On 04/23/2018 at 11:41hours, Officer Glenn, Clifton (60757) responded to a Property Lost at 5624 153 hwy. I spoke with Kenneth Hudgins via telephone. He says that while he was out of the country, he received a message that his license plate for his 1998 Chevrolet pick up had been recovered on a stolen vehicle. He says he had the vehicle in storage at a storage facility at the aforementioned location. He says that he has been unable to determine where the license plate is now. He feels, for all general purposes, that he will not be able to recover the license plate.

When he returned home at about 1230 hours the front storm door glass to his house was broken. Nothing could be located that would have struck the glass. There was no suspect information at the time of the report.

On 04/23/2018 at 13:35 hours, Officer Muretcehajic (62875) and Officer Baker 161responded to a disorder at 3337 Brainerd Rd. Upon arrival police spoke with Mr. Penney who stated that he received threats from Mr. Kenner. Mr. Penney is a brick mason working for Mr. Kenner who is a contractor. Mr. Penney said that due to the weather he has been unable to complete his job for Mr. Kenner and that Mr. Kenner has been making threats to physically harm him. Mr. Penney said he just wanted to document it with police in case anything happens in the future. Police gave Mr. Penney a complaint card so that he could obtain a copy of the report. No further police assistance was required at this time.

On 04/23/2018 at 1500 hours, Officer H. Cole (343) responded to a Credit Card/ATM Fraud from 2001E 23rd St. Police spoke to complainant Andrew Fazio who stated that someone fraudulently used his Pinnacle Bank debit card information. An unknown party withdrew $503 three separate times over two days from three separate locations equaling $1,509. The amounts were taken from First Tennessee ATMs at: 2001E 23rd St, 5526 Brainerd Rd, and 12 Northgate Park. The bank is unable to get video information due to not knowing what time the withdrawls were made at. There is no suspect information at this time. On 04/23/2018 at 15:40 hours, I (FTO Clemons #827) responded to an alarm call at 3535 Hughes Ave. Upon arrival, I located an open door on the back side of the residence. I checked the residence and found no one inside. The door did not appear to have been forced open, however the belongings inside the residence did appear to have been thrown about. No responsible party could be reached at the time. I secured the front and rear doors successfully and no further police action was taken. At the time of the writing of this report several hours after the initial call, there have been no calls back to this residence. Nothing further to report.

He started cussing and yelling about pictures he had at the residence. Brian told the man he did not have any of his pictures. The man said he did not want to cause any problems and walked away. Prior to my arrival she stated she had just spoke to her son and Mr. Rafoss was there safely and no longer needed police assistance.

On 04/23/2018 at 16:55 hours, I, MPO Ric Engle (60825) responded to a Counterfeiting/Forgery at 5135 Hixson Pike. Upon arrival, I spoke to the complainant, Michelle Parker, manager of Bethel Thrift Store.

The complainant told me a white male between 25 to 30 years old came into the store and tried to purchase items with a counterfeit $10 bill. The manager saw the bill was a fake and told the suspect as much. The suspect left the scene. The complainant turned the bill over to me and I took it to property where it was turned in under property number 18-1686. No other police action taken.

I spoke with the complainant Alice Rucker, who stated a black male and black female were arguing in the street. She stated they did not live around here and she did not know who they were. She stated they left in a gray car and a green car. No further police action was taken at this time.

Elizabeth stated she had done some work taking care of the elderly residents at 745 Callaway Court. Pat Rice paid her $50 by check. She noticed the check was dated April 23 2007. She has been unable to make contact to get a new check. Police relocated to 745 Callaway Court and spoke with Pat. She wrote a new check. The check was given to Elizabeth. Nothing further.

On 04/23/2018 at 22:58 hours, Officer Roberts, Galen (61098) responded to a Shoplifting at 5120 Highway 153 (which serves as the physical business address of the "CVS Pharmacy"). Steve Harper (Shift Manager/complainant) observed an unknown African American female suspect surreptitiously concealing approximately $100.00 worth of miscellaneous merchandise (comprised entirely of fragrances and cosmetics) into a dark colored backpack and abruptly exiting the business sans any form of payment to the merchant. The suspect immediately fled the scene in a white colored 2004 Chevrolet Impala ( ) along State Highway 153 (NB). Investigative efforts are ongoing with regards to positively ascertaining the suspect's identity.

On 04/24/2018 at 00:26 hours, Officer Roth (63831) responded to 2000 E 39th St. Upon arrival I spoke to Fredrick Williams. He stated that Rebecca Canion was at his residence drunk and refusing to leave. Police found Ms. Canion hiding in a closet. She agreed to leave and Mr. Williams agreed to take her to her father's home. There was no further need for police.

On 04/24/2018 at 00:23 hours, Officer E. Buckman (66981) conducted a field interview at 700 E 11th St. Police noticed a white Accra with a temp tag and no tag light. Police initiated a traffic stop and encountered two occupants Lamar Lumsden and Antonio Blocker with Lumsden being the driver. Blocker stated he "smokes aloft of weed". Mr Lumsden and Blocker both stated they work at the Chattanoogan. The vehicle was registered to Blocker. Both parties where entered in NCIC with no confirmed warrants.

On 04/24/2018 at 05:30 hours, Officer Dewayne Prater (60839) reported a memo at 4011Brainerd Rd. Police got out with Mr. Michael Gibbs at a local coin laundromat. Mr Gibbs was asleep in the back of the business. Mr. Gibbs told police he was just sitting in the business to get out of the rain. Police explain that the owner did not want people just sitting around and not using the machines. Mr. Gibbs left the area with no problems.

On 04/24/2018 at 06:50 hours, Officer T. Perocchi (79535) met with the complainant at 4703 Tarpon Trail. He stated that his neighbor next to him had the drivers door open to his truck and he was concerned that maybe someone broke into the truck. Police went to the residence next door and saw the truck with the drivers door open. There were no signs of new damages to the door or vehicle that would indicate forced entry. Police attempted to make contact with someone at the residence to see if he could confirm a possible theft from the vehicle but no one would answer the door. On April 24, 2018 at 1036, I Officer Cottell, Brian #820 was dispatched to 4803 Rogers Rd Apt. A for a report of suspicious activity. Upon arrival I met with a Mr. Vasquez who stated there were 2 men in front of his residence wearing white masks, green shirts and gray pants. Mr. Vasquez stated the men did not say anything to him or walk on his property. A search of the area yielded negative contact with the 2 parties. The residence was put on the watch list. No further action taken.

I met with Stephanie Edwards in the PSC lobby. She says that her wallet was stolen in Cleveland Tn and a theft report made there. As a result, her Synovus Financial credit card has been used at Highway 58 Quikstop. for $10.03. She listed two other locations which the card was used at.

Mr. John Tyler was a passenger in the vehicle. Mr. Tyler showed multiple warrants and was briefly detained. The warrants did not verify per Marie at Sessions and Mr. Tyler was released. These events occurred within the city limits of Chattanooga, TN.

On 04/24/2018 at 16:50 hours, Officer Ellis (68393) conducted a field interview on Calhoun Ave. Darla McElroy was seen on the corner of Calhoun Ave with a cup filled with alcohol. Before officers got out the vehicle to question Ms. McElroy, she poured out the liquid on the side of my vehicle. She said one of her friends poured it in her cup before she left the Hamilton hotel. She said she didn't want him to see her walk away from the hotel and pour the drink out so she waited. Darla McElroy is a known prostitute.

The complainant told me she broke up with Jonathan Fisher yesterday. Mr Fisher is sending text messages and going to the Dollar Tree; where the complainant works. The complainant wanted Mr Fisher to stop contacting her. I went to Mr Fisher's address and spoke with him.

I told Mr Fisher to cease trying to contact the complainant and to stay away from her place of business. Mr Fisher said he would. No other police action taken.

On 04/24/2018 at 21:05 hours I, Officer Bulkley (68389), responded to a Disorder at 5011State St. Upon arrival I spoke with the complainant, Ms. Jeanetta Grimes, who stated that a white female named Carolyn Lanham had been in the CVS waiting on prescriptions and was suspected of sticking items in her book bag. I looked up Ms. Lanham and showed the complainant a picture and they confirmed that it was the party that had been in the store. When Ms. Grimes approached Ms. Lanham to ask her about the possible stolen items Ms. Lanham ran out of the store. When I arrived on scene Ms. Lanham had already left the store, I checked the area around the store but was unable to locate her. Ms. Grimes said that she wants Ms. Lanham banned from the store. I informed Ms. Grimes that if the Ms. Lanham shows back up to call Police and we will inform her that she has been banned from the premises and not to return. No further Police action was necessary.

As well, No party answered the door. The caller, Ms. Heather Hanegan, stated her friend, Ms. Emery Lue, was at the house and a Mr. David Richardson was beating on Ms. Emery Lue and threatened to kill her. Ms. Hanegan left the house and called the police. Again, I stay outside the residence but couldn't get a response at the door nor could hear anyone inside the home. Nothing further at this time.

Jessica stated that on the previous Sunday she noticed that her order of protein powder was stolen off her front porch. Jessica had seen what appeared to be a black male party walking on the porch via Nest video camera and walking away with her package. The estimated value of the package was $40.00. At this time no suspect information is known. The video submitted to me will be distriuted sector wide for a possible suspect identification. No further action taken by Police.

On 04/25/2018 at 00:02 hour, Officer Cameka Bruce (63167) responded to a Disorder at 490 Greenway View Dr. Upon arrival, I observed two parties, Julie Grisham and Timothy Chambers, involved in an verbal argument and looking for the keys to Mr. Chambers' vehicle, Silver Ford F-150, . I checked both parties for warrants. Neither party had any outstanding warrants. Ms. Grisham reported she was released from Silverdale a week ago for a DUI charge. Ms. Grisham has to wear an ankle monitor as a part of her probation. Both parties left the area without incident.

Upon arrival, police spoke with Mrs. Luster Ladarriha, she stated that she was walking out of the gas station and after the clerk called her a name she turned around and pushed the door back open. When she pushed the door back open her palm cracked the door and she called police and waited until they arrived. The clerk Mr. Chiragkumar Chaudhari, stated that she came into the store to purchase gas and she attempted to purchase some cigarettes and he asked for her identification. She stated that she didn't have it on her and she would go to her car and get it. As she was leaving the store she turned around and pushed on the glass out of anger for not being able to buy the cigarettes. The clerk stated that he did not want to prosecute and that he just needed a report. No further.

Jeffery signed the title over to him. When David went to register the vehicle he was told that the previous owner had not signed the title over to Jeffery. The previous owner was Jimmy Whaten. The tag and title office told David he needed Jimmy's signature in order to register the vehicle. David said he has been unable to locate Jimmy. Jimmy wanted to know if police could give him Jimmy's current address. He was told police could not give out that information. He was told he would have to find some way to make contact with Jimmy and see if he would sign the title over to him. Nothing further.

On 04/25/2018 at 21:06 hours, Officer Doub (79522) reported a memo at 2701N Chamberlain Ave. Police observed a Red Honda 4-wheeler driving down the roadway on N Chamberlain Ave. Police initiated a traffic stop at the 2700 Block of N Chamberlain. Police made contact with the the owner of the 4-wheeler, Mr. Jartavius Phelps. Mr. Phelps was letting his girlfriend, Ms. Sicarra Wigfall, drive the 4-wheeler for fun and he was riding passenger. Police ran both parties for warrants which came back negative. Police let Mr. Phelps know that it is illegal in the state of Tennessee to ride a 4-wheeler on a main road. Mr. Phelps stated he understands and will not have the 4-wheeler back on the road. Police told Mr. Phelps that if he is seen driving the 4-wheeler on the road again he will not get a warning. Mr. Phelps stated he would put the 4-wheeler away and go in for the night. No further at this time.

Mr. Nichols stated that he was leaving for the night but his wife was upset that he was leaving. Police then spoke to a Ms. Patricia Dennis. Ms. Dennis stated that Mr. Nichols had been drinking earlier and they had a verbal altercation. Ms. Dennis stated that Mr. Nichols packed all his belongings and put them on the front porch for when his ride arrived. Police asked Mr. Nichols if he would like to sit outside until his friend got here to pick him up. Mr. Nichols agreed and stated he was going to come outside and wait with police. Ms. Dennis stayed inside her residence. Both Mr. Nichols and Ms. Dennis stated that they never get physical when they argue. Police waited with Mr. Nichols until his friend arrived. The vehicle remained parked there overnight and this morning around 8:05 am, she discovered that some cash and various papers had been taken. The complainant works for TDOT and she was driving a company vehicle (2012 Ford Fusion) and she last saw it last night at about 6 pm when she parked it at Fairfield Inn. She said that the license plate was still on it at that time and the vehicle remained parked there overnight and she left there with the vehicle at about 7:15 am this morning but she did not pay attention to the license plate. When she got to work about 15 minutes later, she then discovered that the plate was gone. She said that she wasn't sure what happened to the plate. He says that sometime during the night, an unknown party broke out the right and left small side windows of a company owned Ford F150. He says it appeared that the unknown was trying to get a stereo that was laying in the back but could not get it through either of the windows. Mr. Caldwell estimates that it will cost $500+ to have the windows replaced.

On 04/26/2018 at 12:25 hours, Officer Charles Bramlett (66966) responded to a trespassing call 2006 Wilson St. Upon arrival police spoke to the caller Joesph Janini who stated he called because he caught an unwanted person inside his rental property. Mr. Janini stated he was going to show his vacant rental property but noticed someone was sleeping inside. Police spoke to the party who stated his name was Antonio Smith and that he was homeless and was just looking for a place to stay. The owner Mr. Janini stated he did not want to prosecute, he justed wanted Mr. Smith to leave and not return. Police informed Antonio Smith that if he returned to the property the owner would prosecute and he would be arrested. Antonio Smith left the area without further incident. Nothing further to report.

On 04/26/2018 at 14:15 hours, Officer J. Billingsley (79518) responded to a fraud call at 2000 E 23rd St. Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainant Matt McFarlane. Mr. McFarlane informed me he runs the Chatt Inn Motel. Mr. McFarlane told me on 04/24/2018, someone had taken $320.66 from his bank account. Mr. McFarlane informed me that after looking in to it, he discovered the suspect had used his bank account information on a website (www.fingerhut.com). Mr. McFarlane had contacted the fraud department for the website where he was able to find out the suspect that made the purchase was listed as Mike C. Mr. McFarlane told me the fraud department would not release the last name of the suspect unless he was able to tell them what it was first, at which he said Carmichael. The fraud department confirmed that Carmichael was the last name the individual who made the purchase used. Mr. McFarlane told me he had recently fired an individual, Michael Carmichael, and had given him a personal check for the three weeks he had worked at the Chatt Inn. Mr. McFarlane told me after trying to get more information from the fraud department of the website, he was told he would have to get a search warrant or a subpoena to do so. Mr. McFarlane informed me he was in the process of switching bank accounts, however, can not at the time of this report because he has given other individuals paychecks using the account. On 04/26/2018 at 1525 hours, Officer H. Cole (343) responded to a Theft at 2513 Wilder St. Police spoke to victim Kevin Palmer who stated that his lawn mower and weed eater was stolen. The Lawn equipment was padlocked to a table in his backyard when he left for work this morning at 0500 hours but was gone when he returned home around 1440 hours. The lawn mower is a push mower, has the ability to add a grass bagger attachment, and must be turned on and off by connecting and disconnecting the spark plug. There is no suspect information or actionable leads at this time. No further.

On 04/26/2018 at 18:11hours, Officer Van Ness (75389) responded to 1400 S Holtzclaw Ave. on a report of a suspicious party. Upon arrival Officer Van Ness came into contact with Mr. Levi Ventura Morales, who was prying on the window of a toyota corolla. Police spoke with Mr. Morales and found that he had a key to the vehicle along with the for sale sign inside the vehicle with a phone number that made a phone ring in his pocket when Police called the phone number. Mr. Morales stated that the key would not open the door so he was trying to open the door himself. Police attempted the key as well and it would lock the door but it would not unlock the door. Mr. Morales stated that he was going to call a friend or a locksmith to get the problem taken care of. Nothing further.

On 04/26/2018 at 19:46 hours, Officer Van Ness (75389) responded to 3209 7th Ave. on a follow-up with car 541Investigator Willey, due to the property being condemned. Upon arrival Officer Van Ness made contact with Mr. Sam Calderone, Mr. Cheth Dunnington, Mr. Nicholas Dunnington, Mr. Joseph Green, and Mr. Lynn Stephens, who were all at this condemned house and not actively loading property into vehicles. Officer Van Ness checked all parties via NCIC and found that none had any valid warrants at this time. Officer Van Ness told all parties involved that they are not allowed to be at the house during daylight unless they are actively emptying the house and moved property to a vehicle. All were also told that they are not to be on the property after 2030 hours per Car 541. All parties seemed to understand. Nothing further.

I located the person at the 7600 block of Shallowford Rd. Felicia Maxwell. She was walking on the sidewalk. When I got out with her she just asked if she could get a ride home. I transported her to her apartment complex at 3929 Manor Rd. Nothing further at this time.

On 04/26/2018 at 20:50 hours, Officer Hampton (78385) reported a memo at 18500 Interstate 24 Eb. Police spoke with Ms. Lacey Liberty via the telephone. Ms. Liberty told Police that she was traveling east on I-24 and was merging onto I-75 south. Ms. Liberty stated that when she was merging onto I-75, an 18-wheeler semi-truck sped up and would not let her merge. Ms. Liberty stated that she had to accelerate very quickly to get in front of the truck and quickly got over to the left to let the truck pass. Ms. Liberty stated that the truck driver tried to run her off the road to the left when he was passing her on the right. Ms. Liberty stated that the truck driver would not let her get over to exit and when she slowed down or sped up, the truck driver did the same. Ms. Liberty stated that she was finally able to exit the interstate, but the truck driver followed her, so she got back on the interstate. Ms. Liberty stated that the truck driver got back on the interstate and continued to follow her and kept trying to run her off the road. Ms. Liberty stated that the truck driver finally stopped following her at the Ft. Oglethorpe exit, when he got off the exit and got back on the interstate going north bound. Ms. Liberty stated that the tag number to the truck is , but did not see what state it was from. Ms. Liberty stated that the truck and trailer are both white, and the company name printed on the side is Cass Express Inc. Ms. Liberty stated that the DOT number is 1764248.

Ms. Remeto stated she was informed by the credit card company that the card was used at 8101E Brainered Rd at 2047 hours for $8.01and again at 2100 hours for $213.70. Ms. Remeto stated that the card was declined in Atlanta, Ga shortly after. Ms. Remeto had the card reported as stolen to the credit card company.Police notified Ms. Remeto that Walmart is currently closed and police could not check the cameras. On 04/27/2018 at 06:15 hours, Officer Justin Brumbaugh (0066622) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 1224 N Concord Rd. Richard Cotton called police to report that his JBL headphones and a pack of cigarettes were taken from his 2017 Honda Accord. While patrolling the area I located his headphones lying on the ground and returned them to his front porch. There is a surveillance camera at Cotton's house that probably recorded the theft, and Cotton's dad is going to review footage when he is able. The footage could be useful in helping to solve the numerous other thefts that are being reported in the area. There is nothing further to report about this incident.

On 04/27/2018 at 08:55 hours, Officer Moser (60250) responded to a Vehicle Recovered Stolen Outside of Chattanooga at 8029 E Brainerd Rd. I spoke to the complainant, Jim Perry who owns a business called Mulch Plus at this location. Mr. Perry stated he came to work and found an unoccupied black pickup truck sitting nose first in a ditch located in the back half of his property. Police ran the the tag ) and it came back as a stolen vehicle that was reported out of South Pittsburg, Tn as stolen under Nic# V220255397. The owner was contacted by the Law Enforcement agency that took the stolen vehicle report and he stated that he was not able to respond to get the truck. The truck was towed by Johnny's wrecker.

No further at this time. This case will be a recovery other agency and will not be investigated by this department; the follow up will be conducted by the agency the vehicle was reported stolen to at the time of its theft.

Cole (343) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 3310 Montview Dr. Police spoke to complainant Amber Richard who stated that a Gas Leak Detector was stolen from her vehicle. Ms. Richard left her vehicle unattended at this address between 0730 and 0830 hours, between this time a black and grey Flame Pack Gas Leak Detector 400 was stolen from her unlocked vehicle. The Gas Leak Detector is valued at $9,000 USD. Ms. Richard works for Southern Cross Corperation and the Item stolen was entrusted into her care for work purposes. There is no suspect information at this time. No further.

Mr. Morris stated that Pickett Custom Homes owns the property and that between 1800 hours last night and 0730 hours this morning an unknown party entered the property and threw paint on the cabinets, walls, and floor of the kitchen/living room area. On 04/27/2018 at 11:20 hours, Officer Ayriel Novak (70780) reported a memo at 8006 Igou Gap Rd. Upon arrival, police met with complainant Ms. Victoria Braswell and her husband Ricky Braswell. Ms. Braswell stated that she was at DK property in Ringgold Georgia this morning and an argument ensued over the fact that DK property wishes to evict Ms. Braswell and her husband from her property according to Ms. Braswell. Ms. Braswell stated that they can't just kick them out. Ms. Braswell then stated that representatives from DK property, tried to accuse Ms. Braswell's husband of abusing her, so they can be evicted. Police found no signs or marks of any physical abuse. Police also spoke with Officer Thaxton badge number 413, from Ringgold PD, and Officer Thaxton spoke with DK property associates and they stated they do not want Ms. Braswell and her husband on their property again. Officer Thaxton's report number is 18-04-1159. Mr. Braswell stated she is fine with that. No further police action needed.

Ms. Ingram stated she used to live with her ex Mr. Robert Solomon and she left last night 4/26/2018. Police went to the address with the complainant which was 4610 Midland Pike. Police spoke with Mr. Robert Solomon and Mr. Solomon allowed Ms. Ingram to go inside the house and get her belongings. Some arguing ensued but was stopped by police. Ms. Ingram retrieved her belongings and left the scene. No further police action needed.

On 04/27/2018 at 16:53 hours, Officer Luke Simon (79540) reported a memo at 510 Ladd Ave. Upon my arrival I made contact with Billy Cureton. Mr Cureton stated a dumpster (privately owned and contracted) was blocking more than half his road. Mr Cureton stated the dumpster has been on his street for approximately 6 months and has not been an issue until now. Mr Cureton stated the company recently came and emptied the dumpster. Mr Cureton stated after the dumpster was emptied, it was sat down more to the center of the road than before. Mr Cureton also stated his father had recently blown a tire on the iron storm drain opposite side of the road from the dumpster due to lack of room to get by the dumpster. On the way to Mr Cureton's home, I too found it difficult to pass the dumpster having very little room. On scene I contacted K&K Waste and informed them the dumpster needs to be moved so the residents on this street can safely get by. I will follow up with this matter as I too believe it could be a potential hazard. Nothing further at this time.

Mr. West stated that he received a call from an unknown caller saying he had a warrant out for his arrest due to him not showing up for grand jury yesterday. The unknown caller then stated if MR. West gave them 1200 dollars in gift cards the warrant would be taken care of and he would not have to worry about it. Mr. West Choose to buy multiple gift cards and gave the gift card numbers to the unknown caller on the phone. Mr. West then realized this was a scam and contacted police for a report.

Police responded to a report of a physical disorder between a male and female in the parking lat a Kohl's. Upon arrival police could not locate anyone in the parking lot. Police reviewed the camera's inside Kohl's which showed what appeared to be a verbal disorder between a male and a female. On the video neither the male or the female came within 5 feet of each other. The male and female continued the verbal disorder until the male got in the driver seat and the female got in the passenger seat and they drove away. Police searched the area for the vehicle but was unable to locate it. No further.

On 04/27/2018 at 21:40 hours, Officer Ampthor (73492) reported a memo at 2269 Union Ave. Police spoke with Mr. Khalil Green who stated his roommate, Mr. Corey Champion, had put his belongings on the porch after an argument earlier. The disagreement was over behavior and money. Mr. Green wished to have police stand by as he gathered his belongings. Mr. Green gathered much of his belongings but was adamant Mr. Champion had hidden items or claimed the items were his own. Police explained to Mr. Green without proof of ownership we could not allow items to be removed from the residence. Mr. Green was unhappy with this and became angry. Police further explained he had to remove himself from the residence due to the fact he was not on the lease or any pay any house utilities. Mr. Green removed the majority of his belongings and agreed to get the remainer at a later time. No further police action was needed at this time.

Mr. Estes stated that he had seen Mr. Parker in the area earlier that day, but didn’t have contact with Mr. Parker. Upon arrival police located what appeared to be 3 purses of various size on the side of the roadway. After further inspection it was determined that the 3 items were in fact 2 lunch boxes with black and white stripes on one and a pink floral design on the other, both were empty. The other item was a purse green in color obtaining various make-up items. There was no identification found with any of the items and they will be turned into the property division. Nothing further to report at this time.

Police mad contact with Ms. Celeste Postell who stated she was in the shower when her friend "NayNay" got in a verbal disorder with her husband, Mr. Patrick Postell. Ms. Postell's friend left the scene after Mr. Postell left the residence to cool off at a residence a couple blocks down. Mr. Postell stated the argument was simply over his wife having as key to his residence that he disagreed with. Mr. and Ms. Postell stated the disorder never became physical. Nothing further.

I spoke to Jack Ross who stated his friend, Polly McCue is not being taken care of properly at their residence. I spoke to Ms. McCue who stated that she ate dinner last night but was not up to eating breakfast this morning and Jack was worried about her and thought she was being neglected but she is fine.

I spoke to the Manager, Nancy Everett who stated that both parties are fine and taken care of and that Mr. Ross has dementia and Ms. McCue suffered a stroke but they are able to care for themselves.

On 04/28/2018 at 16:30 hours, Officer Cooke (78367) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 4003 Countryside Rd. Upon Police arrival, Police spoke with Ms. Reynolds who stated that she returned to the house which she currently manages for the owner. She stated that the house is currently between renters. Police observed a broken window on the front of the house that is approximately 8 feet off the ground. The window is fractured from the center of the window. The edges of the window contained all the glass making impossible to enter through the window. All of the locks were secure on all of the door leading to the exterior of the residence. The broken window pattern is consistent with a blunt object or type of projectile. Police have nothing further at this time.

He said his neighbors across the street work on cars and it is loud. He said the cars have mufflers that are noisy. Police did not hear any noise while on scene. Police spoke with the neighbor Jeanne Robinson. She said her son works on cars from time to time. She said he does not work on them late at night. She said some of the vehicles have after market mufflers on them but they are street legal. She was to make sure the noise was not excessive while working on the cars and that they were not being worked on late at night. Mr. Parker was told to call back in when the noise was occurring. Nothing further.

On 04/28/2018 at 18:05 hours, Officer Stansberry (61910) responded to a Credit Card/ATM Fraud at 1820 Gunbarrel Rd. Complainant (J. Plumlee) stated his bank had notified him re; charges on his account. Complainant stated unauthorized charges had been made using his bank card account and pin number. Complainant stated the card was used at the First Tn drive-thru ATM facility (in the Target parking lot) around 1140 am. Complainant stated he has his card and is not sure where or how the card information was obtained. At this time there is no further information re; leads, witnesses, or suspects.

On 04/28/2018 at 18:34 hours, Officer Brelsford (77566) responded to a Shoplifting at 4110 Shallowford Rd. Police spoke with loss prevention (Randy Dill). He stated that a Ira Myles was observed via video taking several steaks and putting it underneath his clothing. Mr. Myles exited the store without paying but was confronted by Loss Prevention. Mr. Myles returned the items after being apprehended by Loss Prevention. Total amount of merchandise was $41.78. Mr. Myles was cited for theft under 1000 and set to turn himself in on that charge 29th of May at 1000 hrs. Nothing further.

On 04/28/2018 at 21:10 hours, I, MPO Ric Engle (60825) responded to a Shoplifting at 5764 Hwy 153. Upon arrival, I spoke to the complainant, Mounce, loss prevention at Walmart.

The complainant told me he observed an unknown white male select merchandise worth $197 and put it in a back pack. The suspect then tried to leave the store without paying for the items. As the suspect was leaving, the complainant confronted him and got the merchandise back. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown make white 4 door sedan. No other police action taken.

On 04/29/2018 at 02:40 hours, Officer Harvey, Charles (66485) responded to a Other Theft/Non-Specific at 751Gentry Rd. On scene police spoke to Mr. Castelan who stated he had some things stolen while he was at a party. Mr. Castelan stated he left home at around 1800hrs on 4-28-2018 to go to a party and had left his air compressor and a leaf blower on his carport and when he returned home at around 0130hrs on 4-29-2018 he found that these items were no longer in the carport. There was no suspect information and nothing to process at the scene. BWC was worn and activated during this call for service.

On 04/29/2018 at 20:45 hours, Officer Warren (71993) responded to a Property Found at 6046 Mill Rd. Upon arrival I made contact with complainant, Mr. Raisor, who stated he found three rifles in his shed that were not his own. Mr. Raisor stated they were not there about a week ago and does not know how they got there. The rifles were checked through NCIC and did not come back as stolen. No other information or evidence was obtained. I then transported the rifles and turned them in to property #18-1800. No further action was taken.

On 04/30/2018 at 09:30 hours, Officer Cobb (60660) responded to a Vandalism at 505 W 42nd St. Jake Stone( ) reported that sometime over the weekend someone broke into the house at this address and destroyed the walls, doors, carpet, windows, and light fixtures inside this home. This is the second time in the month of April 2018 that the house has been vandalized. The suspect(s) busted large holes in all the interior walls, broke out the remaining windows, destroyed the interior doors, broke the light fixtures, and smeared "sheet rock mud" all over the walls and carpet. There was no suspect information at the time of the report.

On 04/30/2018 at 10:20 hours, Officer Cobb (60660) responded to a Vandalism at 507 W 42nd St. Jake Stone(423-718-7435) reported that sometime over the weekend someone went inside the house at this address and destroyed the glass, the walls. the ceilings, light fixtures, the interior doors, the bathroom, and cut several electrical wires. There was no suspect information at the time of the report.

On 04/30/2018 at 12:06 hours, Officer PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Credit Card/ATM Fraud at 1301Cowart St at Atlantic Capital. The victim said that he has recently discovered that he has 2 illegal charges on his debit card for $400 & $100 there (on 4/28/18) and a $400 charge at the Atlantic Capital on 1740 Gunbarrel Rd on 4/29/18. He said that he has no idea how the charges were done other than they were done at an ATM. He said that they were possibly done with a fake card because he still has his card. This report was taken in the PSC Lobby.

On 04/30/2018 at 1430 hours, Officer H. Cole (343) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle from 305 Frazier Ave. Police spoke to victim Alexandra Nguyen who stated that her wallet was stolen between 2000 hours and 2130 hours on 04/28/2018. She stated that it was stolen from her car while it was parked at either the Shell gas station on 305 Frazier Ave or in a parking garage at 20 Mason Dr. She stated that her wallet is rectangular and orange and that it contained her ID, SSN card, and multiple credit cards that she has already canceled. 18-038428 4/28/2018 12:00:00PM 26B Credit Card/ATM Fraud 3410 Amnicola Hwy

On 04/30/2018 at 17:50 hours, Officer Van Ness (75389) reported a Credit Card/ATM Fraud at 3410 Amnicola Hwy. via telephone from teleserve. Upon speaking with the victim, Mr. Justin Brown, he stated that on 4-29-2018 the fraud division from Tennessee Valley contacted him about some possible fraudulent charges on his atm card. Mr. Brown stated that on 04-28-2018 his atm card was used at 5526 Brainerd Rd. and $483 was withdrawn from his account. On 04-29-2019 his card was used again at 3604 Tennessee Ave. where $483 was withdrawn from his account, and lastly his card was used at 1820 Gunbarrel Rd. where $483 was withdrawn from his account once again. The total withdrawn from Mr. Brown's account via the three ATM's is a grand total of $1449. Mr. Brown stated that he still had his physical card and that someone must have stolen his information at some point. Mr. Brown stated that he had contacted his bank and placed a hold on his card until he could file a Police report etc. There is no suspect information at this time. This report was received via telephone, in teleserve. Nothing further. On 04/30/2018 at 20:49 hours, Officer Van Ness (75389) wrote a continuation/supplement for a Credit Card/ATM Fraud at 3410 Amnicola Hwy. which was handled via telephone from teleserve. Upon speaking with the victim, Mr. Justin Brown, he stated that he was able to find the exact times that the card was used at the three locations, and they are as follows: 5526 Brainerd Rd. 04-28-2018 @ 1212 hours 3604 Tennessee Ave. 04-29-2018 @ 1051hours 1820 Gunbarrell Rd. 04-30-2018 @ 0848 hours.

Upon speaking with the victim, Mr. Eddie Kemp, he stated that someone had withdrew $203 from his account on 04-28-2018 at First Tennessee on E. 23rd St. and on 04-29-2018 another $203 was withdrawn from an atm at First Tennessee on Hwy 58, for a total of $406 withdrawn from his account Mr. Kemp stated that he used his credit card at two different circle k gas station, two separate restaurants, and several other places. Mr. Kemp stated that his atm card was a from Georgias Own Credit Union (Visa), and that he has already deactivated the card this time. Mr. Kemp stated that he gave no one permission to use his card or withdraw money. No suspect information at this time. This call was taken via telephone in teleserve.

Upon speaking with the victim, Mr. Jakob Murphy, he stated that someone had withdrawn $403 from his account on 04-28-2018 from First Tennessee Bank (unknown location) at an unknown time. Mr. Murphy stated that he used his credit card at two different circle k gas station, two separate restaurants, and several other places. Mr. Murphy stated that his atm card was from Bank of Ozarks, and that he has already deactivated the card this time. Mr. Murphy stated that he gave no one permission to use his card or withdraw money. No suspect information at this time. This call was taken via telephone in teleserve.
