MARKET HIGHLIGHTS • Monthly leasing activity totaled 703,000 sq. ft., up 66% from its five-year monthly average of 424,000 sq. ft. • Year-to-date leasing activity was up 17% from the same period last year. • Renewals totaled 83,000 sq. ft. in November, bringing the year-to-date figure to 465,000 sq. ft. • The availability rate fell 50 basis points (bps) from last month, but remained up 30 bps from one year ago. • Net absorption was 438,000 sq. ft. in November, bringing the year-to-date total to negative 408,000 sq. ft. • The average asking rent was $72.32 per sq. ft., virtually unchanged from last month and up 6% from one year ago. • Sublease availability dipped 30 bps to 2.8% month-over-month, with an average asking rent of $58.65 per sq. ft., up 6% from a year ago.
