December 17, 2020 Rose du Lac) A confirmed case of COVID-19 was in the school on Dec. 17 when that individual may have been infectious. Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk. The infection was not believed to be acquired at school. Close contacts connected to the case have been identified and advised to self-isolate. Anyone who is a close contact has received a close contact letter or phone call from public health. Brandon Earl Oxford School (540 18th St., Brandon) December 15 to 18, 2020 A confirmed case of COVID-19 was in the school on Dec.15 to 18 when the individual may have been infectious. Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk. The infection was not believed to be acquired at school. Close contacts connected to the case have been identified and advised to self-isolate. Anyone who is a close contact has received a close contact letter or phone call from public health. Brandon Vincent Massey High School (715 December 15, 2020 McDiarmid Dr., Brandon) A confirmed case of COVID-19 was in the school on Dec. 15 when they may have been infectious. Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk. The infection was not believed to be acquired at school. Sapotaweyak Cree Nation Sapotaweyak Cree Nation - Funeral November 27, 2020 A person who has tested positive for COVID-19 attended a funeral in Sapotaweyak Cree Nation on Nov. 27 when they were in their infectious period. People who attended the funeral should self-isolate and call the local health centre for further instructions. Brandon Vincent Massey High School (715 November 26 and December 2, 2020 McDiarmid Dr., Brandon) An additional two confirmed cases of COVID-19 attended school on Nov. 26 and Dec. 2 while they may have been infectious. Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk. The infections were not believed to be acquired at school and no close contacts have been identified. The cohort is advised to self-monitor for symptoms. Swan River Swan River Kal Tire (201 4th Ave., Swan November 28, 2020 - 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. River) Brandon Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School November 23 and 25, 2020 (1930 - 1st St., Brandon) A confirmed case of COVID-19 was in the school on Nov. 23 and 25 when they may have been infectious. Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk overall for the school community. The infection was not believed to be acquired at school. Classroom contacts have been advised to self-monitor for symptoms. Close contacts have been identified and advised to self-isolate (quarantine). Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk. The infection was not believed to be acquired at school. Close contacts connected to the case have been identified and advised to self-isolate. Anyone who is a close contact has received a close contact letter or phone call from public health. Glenella Grass River School (Box 160, Glenella) November 5 and 6, 2020 A confirmed case of COVID-19 was at the school on Nov 5 and 6 when the individual may have been infectious. Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk overall to the school community. The infection was not believed to be acquired at school. Close contacts are advised to self-isolate and seek testing if symptoms develop. Classmates are advised to self-monitor and seek testing if symptoms develop. Reston Reston School (516 1st St W., Reston) November 2 and 3, 2020 Two confirmed cases of COVID-19 were in the school on Nov. 2 and 3 when they may have been infectious. Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk. The infection was not believed to be acquired at school. Close contacts connected to the case have been identified and advised to self-isolate. Rivers Rivers Elementary School (530 Main St., November 2 and 3, 2020 Rivers) A case of COVID-19 was confirmed in a student that attends Rivers Collegiate, and also rides the bus with students from Rivers Collegiate and Rivers Elementary School. The student from Rivers Collegiate was on the bus Nov. 2 and 3 when the individual may have been infectious. Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk overall.
