Didis Frieden Didi Bruna begnügt sich nicht damit, das beste Biofleisch auf den Teller zu bringen, er suchtgenuss darüber hinaus immer nach dem Besonderen. Es sollte schon ein Milchlamm aus den Pyrenäen sein, oder ein Wollsäuli „seines“ Bio-Bauern im Engadin. Sisu Die Einrichtung im Sisu ist eine moderne Mischung aus finnischem Design im Stil Marimekko und restaurierten secondhand Möbeln. Auch im Kuli- narischen, wo typisch Schweizerisches auf authentisch Finnisches trifft, findet sich diese Verbindung von Gegensätzen wieder. Gemeint ist etwa die hiesige Schwarzwurzelsuppe mit einem Karhu Bier dazu, das seit 1898 in Finnland getrunken wird. Danach bestellen die Finnen ihren immer noch heiss geliebten Filterkaffee, der natürlich auch hier auf der Karte steht – und so oft nachgeschenkt wird, wie man möchte. Latte Macchiato-Anhänger kommen selbstverständlich trotzdem auf ihre Rechnung, denn diesen Klas siker gibt es als beliebte Alternative auch im Sisu. Die Inhaber, zwei Schweizer Geschwister finnischer Herkunft, haben mit dem Sisu einen entspannten Ort mit viel Persönlichkeit und ein bisschen Eigensinnigkeit geschaffen.

Nicht selten greift Peter Grünbaum sogar auf seine Privatsammlung zurück, um den Wünschen der Kunden entgegenzukommen. Ein führendes Möbelhaus – Teo Jakob gibt es in acht Schweizer Städten – ist mit seinen Einricht ungen immer am Puls der Zeit. Da erstaunt es nicht, dass die Zürcher Niederlassung Ende der 90er Jahre in den loftartigen Räumlichkeiten am Stadtrand einen idealen Standort fand.
