This tiny country has of late become home to some of the most cutting-edge art and design in the world, even as it retains its Old World charm and natural beauty. Please join me next June for a week in this sophisticated country, where a special highlight will be a visit to Art Basel, the unrivaled showcase for contemporary art. We begin in Zurich, where collections are a must for anyone who loves modern art. Guided by an art expert, tour the Migros Museum of Contemporary Art as well as private galleries tucked inside the former Löwenbräu Brewery. In Lucerne, admire priceless Picassos, Klees, and other modern works housed in a 17th-century palace.
