The Lin Family and the Gallaher Family Educational Scholarship At Oakmont, we recognize that our success derives in large part from our employees. In acknowledgment of their importance, we want to provide staff members and their adult children with the means to pursue educational opportunities that may further their personal and professional goals. Oakmont’s owners, the Lins and Gallahers, founded the Lin/Gallaher Scholarship fund at the end of 2016 with the goal of doing just that. This program provides up to $1000 per semester or $2000 per calendar year for tuition for employees and their adult children. Classes can be taken at Universities, Community Colleges, Trade Schools, etc. Employees are eligible after 90 days of employment and must be in good standing. Since the program’s inception, over $202,012 was awarded to 187 Oakmont employees and 59 children of employees.
