Consequently, we feel that the following dimensions would be more appropriate, while respecting the application of Articles 21.1 and 21.2 of the FIA Formula E Championship 2016- 2017 Sporting Regulations: zyxwvutsrqponmlkjihgfedcbaZYXWVUTSRQPONMLKJIHGFEDCBA » Each driver's race number must be visible on the rear mudguard on each side of the car. To be clearly visible, the numbers should be no less than 1zyxwvutsrqponmlkjihgfedcbaZYXWVUTSRQPONMLKJIHGFEDCBA45 mm high, and have a minimum stroke thickness of 30 mm . The car number should achieve maximum contrast and visibility against the car livery. The use of a key-line is permitted if necessary in order to achieve this effect. The use of a white background is not mandatory, however it is recommended for better visibility. For each race number, numbers must be black for the first car and red for the second car. » Each driver's name or Timing Letter Abbreviation should be clearly legible on the external roll up (bodywork) on both sides. We feel that to be clearly legible the names (or TLA) should be no less than 100 mm high, have a minimum stroke thickness of 20 mm and be of a clearly contrasting colour to their background. The use of a key-line is permitted if necessary in order to achieve this effect. Appendix 5 (Team Support Package) will be updated. We expect all cars to be presented in Berlin in this way. Any car that does not comply with the above minimum requirements will be reported to the Stewards. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
