There was a lot of response, all good. It’s going to be a fun adventure. SVC work: It was a day of hoop jumping, with everyone moving in slow motion as they recover from or go down with the unknown virus that ravaged Amarillo. We got a late start on Final Jeopardy for CL52 when somebody had to go run an errand that took three hours. During that time, I finished Communique and did a bunch of memos on the Shapeways store. At 1pm we found out that despite entire days of work getting it ready we cannot open the Shapeways store until about 27 March due to the way their system works, which was a major bummer. I started work on the CL52 Supplemental File. I rounded up the cost data so that we could put the new miniatures (big freighters) on the cart. Leanna got that done. I did the term paper ranks, including two newly promoted Captains. Jean and I got through the first 17 pages of Captain’s Log #52 before we were both so frazzled we just went home and crashed. By 4pm those were done and I figured out that I didn’t do something on the awards list that I had to go back and do. SVC work: I came in and found that Jean could not get all of the changes checked because Printer Paula had (as is her habit) only printed half of the pages I sent. So we had to get those printed and checked, then I had to make three minor fixes I had missed. That done, I created the PDF for CL52 and (after it was checked) replaced three of those pages for further minor mistakes. Then I turned to the CL52 Supplemental File and more back-and-forth memos on the Shapeways store. I finished the Supplemental file and gave it to Jean who was surprised to see it done so early, then she realized that there was a blank page for comments from Mike West, Tony Thomas, and Chuck Strong. I had one of those "one •••• fool thing after another" days, running me all over town doing things (in the rain) with periodic half-hours of work in the office. At least my doctor gave me a good report on my blood work. My kidney function has actually improved. I sent the staff the new Fed base chart and immediately got a few reports. Petrick and I did a few Lyran generic ships for LyrMSSB.
