Changing Breed House Rules For
CHANGING BREED HOUSE RULES FOR: Chicago: New Moon Rising (+satellites) Enigmas of Rage Obsidian Shadows If at any time you wish to question a rules call made by the Staff, the final decision is made by the HST. 1 Unless the rules call affects the survival of a PC, please ask it after the scene resolves. 2 Conduct Rules Black Card - The World of Darkness can present themes of personal horror that can become intense for players. At any time when in a scene, if a player is uncomfortable, they may declare a Black Card. The character will continue to be present in the scene, but the player need not be present. Afterward, a Storyteller will speak with the player and go over the events in a manner the player finds acceptable and inform them of any consequences to their character. These situations will be treated with the utmost respect by all players and staff. Time-Out Rule - For moments where the Black Card is not needed, but a player feels a situation, scene, or interaction is beginning to overwhelm them, the player may place their hand over their head in a fist to indicate they are taking a time-out. They may, then, walk away from the scene temporarily. All other players are not to disturb the Time-Out player during this time. A staff member or player rep will handle interactions with that individual until they are able to come back. If this occurs in the middle of a scene, that scene is considered to be in time-stop until the player is able to return. -

Why Is Vampire Still Cool?
WHITE WOLF 2.0 Introduction • Rich Thomas: Creative Director • Eddy Webb: Senior Developer CCP Transmedia • Description: Transmedia, as we’re choosing to use it (and there are many different definitions out there), would be the taking an IP that is primarily in one medium and expanding the range of mediums it can be enjoyed in. For CCP’s purposes, that would be taking one of our MMO IPs and helping in the creation of projects that allow the fans to stay engaged with the property - keeping their heads still in that universe, although they’re not in front of their monitors. • TL;DR Version: We make things that aren’t MMOs, including WW RPGs Short History of the Transition • Pre-Merger • Traditional RPG book publishing treadmill not working • Retailer/Distribution channels shrinking • Book chains imploding • WW begins to explore electronic publishing Short History of the Transition • Merger • Color Vampire books • We jump off the treadmill • CCP has massive growth • Massive growth has to be managed carefully and takes most of the corporate focus Short History of the Transition • Post-Merger Growing Pains • Try to get PoD going, but it falls apart • Rich and Eddy go to MMO land • Many projects within CCP, including WW’s, need loving care in order to happen Which Brings us to NOW • Rich and Eddy return from MMO land and create CCP Transmedia • We have a PDF Schedule for the next year • We have Now In Print (PoD) • V20 • Onyx Path Vampire 20th PDF • September/October 2011 • An updating of the classic rules from Vampire: The Masquerade – Revised Edition. -
