Bookmarks for Kids Sisterhood partnered with the East Tampa Academy, a charter school serving underserved children at risk in VPK and grades K-2, in the Rainbow Heights area, to create special bookmarks for their students. The bookmarks are special because each one was personalized. Sisterhood members had fun decorating the bookmarks with fun, child friendly stickers, laminating them and adding a tassel to finish them. Check out the picture. Several sisterhood members also baked treats of cup- cakes, brownies and assorted cookies for the school to use for the VPK graduation. Thank you to Cindy Korenvaes, Gwen Niehoff, Sylvia Richman, Carol Tarica and Lisa Teblum for working on the bookmarks and baking. We know the school appreciated our efforts and the students enjoyed getting the bookmarks and treats!
