In 2020 100% of our pupils gained GCSE English Language, English Literature, Maths, Single Sciences or Combined Science and a language. 100% achieved 5 or more subjects A* - C / 9 - 4 57% of the subjects were awarded grade 9 - 7 / A*- A.

In 2019 100% of our pupils gained GCSE English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, all three sciences and a language. 100% achieved 5 or more subjects A* - C / 9 - 4. 63% of the subjects were awarded grades 9 - 7 / A* - A.

In 2018 100% of our pupils gained GCSE English Literature. 100% achieved 5 or more subjects A* - C / 9 - 4. 51% of the subjects were awarded grades 9 - 7 / A* - A.

The curriculum throughout the School is designed to offer a broad range of subjects KS3 (age 11-14) and to enable individual pupils to fulfil their potential. The School offers many opportunities to extend gifted and talented pupils. Those with difficulties are The curriculum in Years 7, 8 and 9 provides continuity, enabling pupils to develop identified and offered additional help and support. their knowledge from the previous Key Stage. Pupils take half-yearly courses in Food Preparation and Nutrition, and Textiles. Nursery and Reception Year 7 pupils begin learning Latin and Spanish and the three sciences are studied separately. This stage of Education is called the Foundation Stage. The curriculum is based on In Year 8, pupils will either continue with Latin, or begin a course in Classical Civilisation or areas of learning. These are now split into two categories: take one period of extra English and extra French. In addition they will continue with Mandarin Chinese or Spanish. Prime Areas Personal, Social and Emotional Development In Year 9 pupils continue Latin, Classical Civilisation or Extra English. They also continue Physical Development either Spanish or Mandarin Chinese or extra French. Communication and Language

Specific Areas KS4 (age 14-16) Literacy Mathematics All pupils study a core curriculum of mathematics, English Language, English Understanding the World Literature, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and a language. In addition to the core Expressive Arts and Design subjects, pupils choose three options from the list below and also have lessons in PE, PSHE, Music and Religious Studies. Learning is planned within a topic-based framework, with individual topics being studied for half a term. Option choices: Art Classical Civilisation Drama KS1 (age 5-7) Food Technology Geography At KS1 pupils are taught the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science, along History with others such as History, Geography, Art, RS, DT and ICT, by the class teacher. ICT Drama, Music, PE and French, in Years 1 and 2, are taught by specialist teachers. Latin Mandarin KS2 (age 7-11) Music PE At KS2 pupils study a wide range of subjects, many of which are taught by specialist Spanish teachers. From Year 4 pupils are taught in ability sets for English and Mathematics.
