Getting to Incoatec …

from the airport Hamburg -Fuhlsbüttel • by the subway # S1 to the main railway station Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (26 minutes)

from the main railway station Hamburg Hauptbahnhof • by public transportation with the subway # S2 or S21 to the subway station Hamburg-Bergedorf (20 minutes)

from the subway station Hamburg -Bergedorf • take bus #31(direction “Lauenburg” via “Geesthacht/ZOB”) to the bus stop “Grüner Jäger” (35 minutes). From the bus stop it is a 20-minute-walk to reach Incoatec at Helmholtz Center Geesthacht. • take bus #8800 or #8890 to “Geesthacht/ZOB” (26 - 35 minutes). From there take a taxi to Incoatec or another bus in the direction “Lauenburg” to the bus stop “Grüner Jäger”. • bus #8800 goes four times in the morning directly to the Helmholtz Center Geesthacht (bus stop "Geesthacht, Helmholtz-Zentrum (Eingang)", 34 minutes)

by car • search option for you navigation device: „Grüner Jäger“ • coming from Berlin on the A24 take the exit “Hornbek”, L205 and follow the signs to Lauenburg. From there follow the B5 to Geesthacht. Helmholtz Center Geesthacht/Incoatec is located on the left hand side about 10 km after leaving Lauenburg. Please follow the signs! • coming from the south take the A1 to Hamburg, then towards Lübeck, leaving the A1 for the A25 to Geesthacht. Take the B5 towards Lauenburg, passing through Geesthacht. Helmholtz Center Geesthacht/Incoatec is located on the right hand side about 3 km after leaving Geesthacht. Please follow the signs!
