According to the Dictionary, most of the 18 Punica granatum-derived ingredients detailed in this safety assessment are reported to function in cosmetics as skin conditioning agents, while some are reported to have other functions, such as abrasives and antioxidants. The Scientific Literature Review (SLR) of these botanical ingredients was issued by CIR on January 24, 2019.
