Cast Bios

Matthew Alexander (Ensemble) is thrilled to be spending his first summer with Upstage. He's a rising senior at Wichita State University where he studies ! Favorite roles include The Baker (), Moonface Martin (), and Ursula (The Little Mermaid). Matthew is so thankful to Jenny and Patrick for allowing him the opportunity to be in a show and to create some magic. Come on down and feed your souls when you see at Upstage! Grayson Arguello (Ensemble) was in orchestra all four years of high school. His senior year of high school, he decided to take Drama and Choir, his whole world changed shortly afterwards. He found his spark after doing his very first show, directed by Robin Robinson (Grandma Addams) at Edmond Santa Fe HS, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. His newfound has lead him to doing shows at Rose State College: Pippi Longstocking, Oliver!, and 9 To 5. The Addams Family is his very first community theatre show, and his very first time involved with Upstage Theatre Productions. He is very excited to be a part of this production and loves the cast/crew. Quinn Baker (Ensemble) is elated to be in her 10th show with Upstage Theater! You might have seen her previously as Jan in , Ayah in The Secret Garden, or Beggar Woman/Lucy in . She recently graduated from UCO with her BFA in Theater Education. When she has free time, Quinn enjoys reading, playing video or board games, and taking plenty of naps! Cadence Barreda (Ensemble) will be a 10th grader at Deer Creek High School next year. Her favorite roles include Eurydice from Eurydice, Marcy Park from 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Diana Morales from . Karys-Faith Barreda (Ensemble) will be a freshman at Deer Creek High School next year. Her favorite roles include Tracy Turnblad from , Mrs. Wormwood from Matilda, and Miss Flannery from Thoroughly Modern Millie. Aden Basco (Ensemble/Karl US) just finished his Freshman year at the University of Tulsa where he studied film and trumpet performance, but will start at Oklahoma City University in the Fall, pursuing theatre and vocal performance. He was in his first program this Spring, a revue done virtually, titled, “Listen to My Heart, the Songs of David Friedman.” Aden will make his upstage debut as Karl the Giant’s cover and ensemble. Big Fish is Aden’s first, live/fully produced musical to be a part of, and he is very excited to share this incredible story with everyone! Gabriella Beck (The Mermaid/Ensemble) is a junior Musical Theatre major at the University of Central Oklahoma. She has performed in several Musical Theatre roles, standouts of which are Ariel in Disney’s the Little Mermaid and Wednesday Addams in the Addams Family. In addition to her work on stage, she also acts as a character performer for Character Connection Co. and as a mermaid at the OKC Blue Zoo Aquarium. Gabriella is so happy for the opportunity to be a part of this fantastic show! Madison Bertsch (Ensemble) is incredibly thrilled to be back at Upstage! This is her eleventh year performing. Some of her favorite previous shows include Meet Me in St. Louis, , Freaky Friday, and ! She is extremely grateful to be back onstage and even more for Patrick and Jenny for this opportunity! Annie Brown (Ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of her third production with Upstage! As a high school senior graduate, she is glad to be her this summer to tell this story she loves so much! Annie plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University in the fall as a musical theatre major! She would like to thank Patrick and Jenny for all of the memories this past year and helping her grow both as a performer and a person!

Keegan Buckaloo (Ensemble/Will US) 26. Hometown: Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Graduate of East Central University with a Bachelors Degree in Musical Theatre. Previous Credits: Brad Majors “Rocky Horror Picture Show”, Ensemble “ELF the Musical”, Father Schmelzenbach “Nunsense”, Finch “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”, Gabe “”, Orin Scrivello D.D.S. “Little Shop of Horrors”, Scarecrow “Wizard of Oz”. Winner of the 2016 “Golden State Choral Trophy” International Competition with ECU Chorale. Competed as a dance finalist in the American Collegiate Theatre Festival 2016 & 2017. Paige Cain (The Witch) feels so delighted and blessed to be spending another summer with Upstage Theatre as The Witch in Big Fish! Paige's previous roles with Upstage include Margaret in Carrie: The Musical, Nettie Fowler in , and Anna in Some Enchanted Evening. She would like to thank Patrick for another amazing opportunity to perform, Jordan for his inspiration and encouragement, the wonderful cast for their preparation and passion, and her family for their ongoing love and support! Priscila Covarrubias (Alabama Lamb/Ensemble) is so glad to finally be a part of a summer show with Upstage! Previous upstage blackbox shows include Carrie and Sweeney Todd. Some of her favorite roles have included Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) and Beth (Little Women). Priscila is currently teaching music with Putnam City Schools at Windsor Hills Elementary. She is so thankful to be a part of such a fun and talented cast that keeps the music going all year round! Hannah Dedmon (Ensemble) is grateful to be in Big Fish! She is currently pursuing a double major for a BFA in Theatre Education and a BA in Creative Writing at the University of Central Oklahoma. Some of her past onstage credits include Carrie (Upstage Theatre), Children of Eden (Upstage Theatre), Into the Woods (Sooner Theatre), The Wedding Singer (Sooner Theatre), and Lyric Theatre’s A Christmas Carol (Lyric Theatre). She wants to express all of her love to her family, friends, beautiful castmates, and cat, Pete! Emma Degerness (Ensemble) is thrilled to participate in Big fish! Some of her past shows include Into The Woods in which she played Cinderella, where she portrayed young Simba, and Alice In Wonderland, where she acted as Alice. She would like to thank Patrick for this opportunity! Jacob Diaz (Ensemble) is going into his junior year at Oklahoma State University studying Music Education. This is his first summer at Upstage, and he is excited to show off all of the cast and crew’s hard work. Miller Dick (Young Will/Will’s Son) is 10 years old and will be a 6th grader at Sequoyah Middle School in Edmond. He is so excited to be spending his summer with Upstage Theatre! Some of his favorite roles include Bruce in Matilda Jr., Charlie Bucket in Willy Wonka Jr., and FDR in Annie. Miller loves singing and performing and spending time with all of his friends in theater. He can’t wait for you to see Big Fish! John Dilbeck (Ensemble) so happy to be performing with Upstage for the first time this summer! He hopes to gain more performance experience while he studies musical theatre at UCO and has proudly been a part of “High School Musical: The Musical” and Mustang High School’s “A Mixtape Musical.” He is having a great time with Big Fish and can’t wait for everyone to see the show! Peter Fischaber (Karl the Giant) is spending his fifth summer in the park with Upstage Theatre, most recently having played Lurch in last year's The Addams Family. He has also appeared on stage this year at 3rd Act Theatre and Carpenter Square Theatre, and has provided fight choreography for shows at 3rd Act and Gaslight Theatre in Enid. Elena Gage (Ensemble/Witch US) is an alum of the Masters of Music Theatre program at Oklahoma City University and makes her debut with Upstage at Mitch Park. She studied with Dr. Bill Christensen (voice), and coached with Jan McDaniel. Previous roles include Chiffon (Little Shop of Horrors), Madame Dilly (On the Town), Motormouth Mabel (Hairspray), Miss Meyers (Freaky Friday) and Vocal Ensemble (Songs for a New World). Instagram: @elenaaverygage Olivia Gannaway (Girl with the Orange Cat) is thrilled to be in her first summer show at Upstage! She is a soon to be 2nd grader at Centennial Elementary. She loves performing, softball, and swimming. She has already felt so welcomed by everyone in this production and can’t wait for the big show! Olivia Goodspeed (Ensemble/Dance Captain/Josephine US) is thrilled to be in Big Fish! She is now a senior at Wichita State University pursuing a BFA in Performing Arts emphasis in Musical Theatre. Her past credits include Anything Goes (Wichita State University), Carrie (Upstage Theatre), and Seussical (Wichita State University). Olivia is so excited to be a part of this production and would like to thank Upstage for this opportunity. She would also like to thank her family and friends for all the love, support and endless encouragement. Parker Green (Ensemble) has been in musicals since 7th grade. She has a passion for music and loves relaying that. She has been everything from ensemble to the main lead and loved every minute of it. She is so excited to be in this musical! Andrew Grieb (Amos Calloway) Playing the part of Amos makes Andrew's 5th Summer show with Upstage Theatre at Mitch Park. Andrew is really excited to be a part of this cast along with three of his daughters, Reagan, Sydney, and Taylor. When Andrew is not acting, you might just see him as one of your pilots on a United Airlines Flight. Reagan Grieb (Ensemble) is in her 5th Summer show with Upstage Theater. Other shows she has been in include Les Miserable, Shrek, , and Addams Family. Each summer she looks forward to being on stage along side her dad and this year two of her sisters have joined the fun. Reagan will be starting 6th grade this fall. Her favorite activities include reading, theater and more reading. Sydney Grieb (Ensemble) is excited to join her sisters and dad onstage this summer in her first summer performance with Upstage. She has previously been in Press Start and Musicville with Upstage Theater during the school year. Sydney will be entering third grade this fall. She loves to swim, read and be outdoors. Taylor Grieb (Ensemble) is excited to be in her first Summer play with Upstage Theater. Previous experience includes Carousel, Alice in Wonderland and Press Start. She joins her dad and two big sisters on stage this summer. She will be starting 1st grade this fall. Taylor enjoys playing outside, movies and theater and spending time with her little sister. Her favorite thing about being in Big Fish is the super late bedtime from rehearsals and show nights! Chase Horsley (Ensemble) is very excited to be making his debut at Upstage Theatre. Chase recently was cast as Buddy in the musical Elf right before covid unfortunately that show was canceled. Chase is very excited to be back on stage after a year or so of not performing. Chase is from a little town called Bethany, Oklahoma. He has been in many shows with different theaters. Some of those shows are: (Tommy Dijials), Crazy For (Sam), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Benjamin), The Little Mermaid (Grimsby). Chase would like to thank his parents for always supporting him in everything he does. He also wants to thank Patrick Towne for giving him the opportunity to be in this show and he also would like to thank Jordan for helping him with all of the music for this production and helping him further his musical journey. Emmalee Ingle (Ensemble) is so happy to be in her 3rd summer production at Mitch park. She will be a senior this next year at Guthrie high school. She has had several different roles In the schools musicals but some of her favorites were Fiona in Shrek the musical and Wednesday in the Addams family. She has been in choir for 9 years and will be going in to her 4th year as a Pied piper, which is a children’s improv group. She wants to thank Upstage for giving her this opportunity to be a part of the “Big Fish” family! Connor Irwin (Ensemble) is a current Sophomore at Guthrie High School. This is his first show at Upstage, but some of his previous roles include Donkey in “Shrek: The Musical” and The Cat in the Hat in “Seussical” in the GHS Theater Dept. He is thrilled to create incredible new memories with this larger-than-life show and can’t wait for everyone to see it! Camryn Jones (Ensemble) is very excited to be in her 11th show at upstage. She will be going into 9th grade at Edmond North. Some of her favorite roles include Alice from Alice and Wonderland, Ethel from Footloose and Cassandra from Cats. She is so thrilled to be a part of this show and would like to thank Jenny and Patrick for all their hard work! Aaron Kellert (Edward Bloom) is back for his SEVENTH Summer with Upstage Theatre, performing the last few years in Les Miserables, Evita, and the Addams Family. Offstage, Aaron is in charge of 600 tiny humans as the Principal of Nichols Hills Enterprise Elementary School. He is so grateful to spend his Summers with his family singing and dancing all over the Mitch Park stage! Claire Kellert (Ensemble) is excited for her SEVENTH Summer with Upstage Theatre! Some of her favorite past shows are The Secret Garden, Les Miserables, Evita, and the Addams Family. An incoming seventh- grader at Belle Isle, Claire also loves to bake and play soccer. Preston Kellert (Ensemble) is ready for his second Summer with Upstage Theatre, making his stage debut last Summer in The Addams Family. Preston also loves to build with Legos, play Roblox, and swim. Preston will be a Third Grade student at Nichols Hills Enterprise Elementary next year. Taylor Kellert (Ensemble) has spent seven wonderful summers with Upstage Theatre and will be a sophomore at Harding Charter Prep next year. Some of her favorite shows in the past are The Addams Family, Hairspray, Evita, and Legally Blonde. She is so grateful for the time she gets to spend with friends and family here and can’t wait to share this beautiful show with you all! Jayden Knight (Ensemble/Sandra US) is a junior Musical Theatre and Vocal Performance double major at Oklahoma City University. Some of her previous roles include Jo (Little Women), Cosette (Les Miserables), and Cinderella (Into the Woods). She is beyond excited to be making her Upstage Theatre debut with this amazing cast and crew, sharing this beautiful and touching story! Madisen Lonteen (Ensemble) This is Madisen’s 7 season out at the park and shes thrilled to be back. Some of her favorite roles were Glinda (Wizard of Oz), Vi (Footloose) and Ado Annie (Oklahoma). She wants to say a special thanks to all her friends and family for supporting her through everything. MK Mackey (Ensemble) is so excited to be back at Mitch Park for another summer show after growing up with Upstage! She is a senior Musical Theatre major and Neurobiology minor studying under Dr. Rob Glaubitz. Favorite roles include Jenny (Theory of Relativity), Lucy (YAGMCB), and Chava (). She is thrilled to share this story with her wonderful cast mates and all of you! MK would like to thank her parents and brothers, Dr. Glaubitz, and her three best friends for their support. Love you forever. Karis McMurry (Josephine) is a Junior BFA Acting major at Oklahoma City University, and she is thrilled to be making her Upstage Theatre debut with this lovely cast. Recent credits include Love and Information, Onto Victory, The Music Man, Steel Magnolias, and . She hopes this story fills you with wonder. Codi McWhorter (Ensemble) is SO EXCITED to be back doing her 6th show at Upstage! Her favorite rolls include Roxie Hart in , Veronica Sawyer in Heathers, and Eponine u/s in Les Miserables! Thank you Jenny and Patrick for being amazing. :) Amanda Michele (Alabama Lamb/Ensemble) is excited to be making her Upstage debut in Big Fish! Amanda recently relocated from Iowa where she was involved in many aspects of theatre. Some of her favorite roles include Niki Harris (Curtains), Olive Ostrovsky (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and Gertie Cummings (Oklahoma!) She can’t wait for everyone to come and enjoy Big Fish this summer! Matthew Moreillion (Mayor of Ashton/Ensemble) is thrilled to return for his second show at Upstage, after last appearing as Mr. Stevens in Carrie. Some of Matthew's other favorite roles have included Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing, George Bailey in It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, Gary/Roger in Noises Off!, and Reb Mordcha in Fiddler on the Roof. He would like to thank his girlfriend Christina, and his parents Paul and Amy for all their love and support. Alex Mullings (Ensemble) is thrilled to return to Upstage Theatre this summer! Her favorite roles at Upstage include Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago and Duffy in Annie. Alex will be in Upstage’s other summer show in July, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” as Woman 2! So much love to Patrick, Jenny, and the cast of Big Fish for being absolute dreams to work with! David Noaker (Ensemble) is so excited to be in Big Fish! He plays a child of Ashton and the over excited scout. He has been in Anything Goes, Cats, Footloose, Evita, Alice in wonderland, and Seussical the Musical. He would like to thank his family for grooming him into the man he is today. Beth Phillips (Ensemble) is excited to be back at Mitch Park with Upstage Theatre! Some of her favorite previous credits include Upon A Mattress, Little Women, Beauty & The Beast, and Fiddler on the Roof. He has been in such Upstage shows; A Chorus Line (Greg), Cats (Mr Mistoffelees), and Anything Goes (Moonface Martin). He can be found doing magic and dance shows at Frontier City this summer! Maurice Quintel Simmons (Zacky Price) from OKC, is not a "stranger" to the Upstage Theatre family. His favorite shows include "", "Beauty and The Beast", "Sweeney Todd" and "Evita". "Big Fish" has been a dream show for him since seeing the musical and the film for the first time in 2015. He is so happy to be back for another summer to do this show as Zacky Price, alongside an incredible cast of incredible talent. Be the hero of your story and get your tickets now. Ashley Raydon (Ensemble) is currently on her Junior year studying Musical Theatre at The University of Central Oklahoma. This is her second performance with Upstage Theatre. She is very excited to be a part of such a wonderful team! Fun fact, her favorite role she has played is Adelaide in . She wants to send thanks to her family and friends for their love and support! Steven Reese (Hot-Blooded Shotgun Toter/ Ensemble) is excited to be a part of this 3rd summer at his favorite theatre company. He just finished up being the Billy Cover in Upstage’s “Some Enchanted Evening” back in January where he got to sing some of his dream numbers such as “If I Loved You” and “Soliloquy” (both from Carousel) as well as “This Nearly Was Mine” from . Steven appreciates Upstage not only because of how welcomed he felt, but also because of Jenny and Patrick’s leadership in bringing up performers from all stages of life. Gabriel Reyes (Ensemble) Jenny Rottmayer (Sandra Bloom) is thrilled to be back on stage after a two-year performing hiatus! She has performed Off-Broadway in “Flipside: The Patti Page Story”, locally with the OKC Pops, and loves performing at Mitch Park. She has been on this stage almost every summer for the last 15 years! Some of her favorite roles include Belle in “Beauty and the Beast”, Eva Peron in “Evita”, and Lily in “The Secret Garden”. She also loves teaching musical theatre classes and hanging out with her husband and 6 kiddos! Thank you all for supporting the arts in Edmond! Jensen Rottmayer (Ensemble) has been performing since he was three months old. He loves hanging out with his family, playing basketball, and performing. He will be an 8th grader at Sequoyah next year. Logan Rottmayer (Ensemble) is getting ready to start 6th grade at Sequoyah next year and has been performing since he was little. He loves hanging out with his family, playing baseball, and performing in musicals! Aubrey Ross (Jenny Hill) is so excited to be back at the park for her 7th summer! She just completed her 8th year teaching at Guthrie Junior High School, and also recently completed her Masters in Vocal Pedagogy from UCO. Some of her favorite roles include Fiona in Shrek the Musical, Alice Bieneke in the Addams Family, Lucy in YAGMCB, and Miss Gardner in Carrie. She is thankful for Patrick and Upstage for this opportunity! Trinity Snodgrass (Ensemble) is from Edmond, OK and a sophomore musical theatre major at UCO. Some of her favorite roles include: Maria Von Trapp - Sound of Music, Donna - Mamma Mia, and Belle - Beauty and the Beast. She can’t wait for all of y’all to see the hard work everyone has put towards Big Fish! Christian Usey (Ensemble) is a new high school graduate and can’t wait to make his upstage debut. He has been in several school productions, his favorites being the voice of Audrey 2 in little shop of horrors and Shrek in Shrek the musical. He is very excited for everyone to see the hard work the cast has put into this show! Pierson Van den Dyssel (Don Price) is a rising Junior at UCO. Some of his previous roles include Trevor in The Theory of Relativity, Race in Newsies, and Alvin in Band Geeks. He is extremely excited to be performing again and can't wait for you all to see the show! Becca Walker (Ensemble) is excited to be on stage as a performer again after a six year hiatus. She has been teaching 2nd grade in Edmond for the past four years. She has choreographed for multiple schools and summer camps in her free time. Thanks to Jenny and Patrick for bringing music theatre to the community! Logan Wright (Will Bloom) is from Midwest City, OK and a junior musical theatre major at the University of Central Oklahoma. Favorite credits include: Lonny (Rock of Ages), Oscar (), Warner (Legally Blonde). Logan can’t wait to make his Upstage debut and for everyone to see the show! Jordan M. Andrews (Music Director) was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He works as a private vocal coach/teacher, Oklahoma City University staff accompanist and has been seen as a performer and/or music director for The City - OKC, Opera on Tap - OKC, Ignition Arts, Fresh Paint, Upstage Theatre, Painted Sky Opera, Cincinnati Opera, Arts Studio and Theatre, Poteet Theatre, and more. Some favorites include: Songs For a New World (Music Director); (Chorus/Dancer); Carousel (Billy Bigelow); Shrek The Musical (Donkey); and Hairspray (Seaweed). They are currently pursuing a degree at the University of Central Oklahoma.
