The undersigned 1s directed to refer to this Ministry's Office Memorandum No.6(S)-EIII/62 dated 11th April, 1963 as amended by Office MemorandUm of even number dated the 19th January 1966 and to saY tnat th@ qu@§t1on or 0Atend1ng tbe§~ orders to other categories of ex-combatants in the Armed Forces etc. has been under examination in this Ministry Tbe Pres1dent has been pleased to clecidethat the orders dated 11.4.1963 and 19.1.65 will equally be appliCable to ex- combatant storemen re-employed as Storeman 1n oivil posts. 2. l!:x",oombatantstoremen re ~mployed in civil posts as storemen maY be given an option to get their pay refixed under the provisions of Office Memoranda refe,rred to above within a period of six months from the date of the issue of this Memo. The option once exercised will be final. 3. It has also been decided that the benefits of the orders referred to in para. 1 ab~ve should not be allowed concurrsnttr with tnose §gnction~ in thiB MiD~try'§ Office Memorandum No.F7(34)'-EIII/62 dat~d the 16th Jannary 1964. EXecombatant storeman re~mp1oyed as storemen in civil posts will, howevor, have the option to get their pay re-f1xed ~der either of the two sets of orders v1&. this M1nistry's orders dated the 11th April 1963 as amended by Office Memorandum dated 19.1.1965 or the orders dated 16.1.1964. In the latter case, the pay on re- . employment will be fixed in accordance with this Ministry's Office Memorandum No. 8(34)-E~II/57 dated 25.11.1958. ,4.
