Po prihodu ladje (3,5 ure jadranja) v pristanišče Povljana bo sledilo vkrcanje kolesarjev in čez noč odhod ladje proti pristanišču in otoku Zverinac. Nočitev v pristanišču in mestu Zverinac. 1. Zaradi svoje velikosti bodo obiskovalci otok in mesto Zverinac najbolje spoznali s sprehodom in tako doživeli popoln mir in sprostitev v neokrnjeni naravi. Nočitev v pristanišču Zverinac. 2. dan 25.04.2020. Čeprav so prebivalci Božave pridni kmetje in ribiči, se večina ukvarja s turizmom. Long Island je otok posebnosti, kontrasta in največji otok v skupini severno dalmatinskih otokov. Long Island s številnimi privlačnimi turističnimi kraji in naravnimi lepotami obiskovalcem ponuja potovanje na tradicionalen način in sodobnega načina življenja. Vsekakor priporočamo obisk naravnega parka Telaščica v osrednjem delu vzhodne jadranske obale, na jugovzhodnem delu Dugega otoka. Zaradi izjemne lepote, bogastva in pomena je bil ta zaliv, ki ga obkroža 13 otokov in otočkov ter vsebuje šest otočkov znotraj zaliva, leta 1988 razglašen za naravni park. Status zaščitenega območja je bil leta 1980 podeljen zaradi svoje izjemno dragocene flore in favne. Geoloških in geomorfoloških pojavov, dragocenih odkritij morskega dna in zanimive arheološke dediščine. Ko se kolesar ob prihodu v Sali vkrca na ladjo in nadaljuje pot do otoka in kraja Mali Iž. Ob prihodu v Mali Iž vam bodo postregli topel obrok. Po počitku in preživeti noči v pristanišču in mestu Mali Iž, sledita zajtrk in začetek 4. etape. 4. Etapa Mali Iž-Veli Iž, predvidena vožnja s kolesi je okoli 20 km Na koncu kolesarjenja Mali Iž - Veli Iž se bomo najkasneje ob 11.00 uri odpravili z ladjico Miki na otok Pašman, kraj in pristanišče Ždrelac, kjer bomo predvidoma nadaljevali 4. Etapo.

  • Hrvatski Jadranski Otoci, Otočići I Hridi
Hrvatski jadranski otoci, otočići i hridi Sika od Mondefusta, Palagruţa Mjerenja obale istoĉnog Jadrana imaju povijest; svi autori navode prvi cjelovitiji popis otoka kontraadmirala austougarske mornarice Sobieczkog (Pula, 1911.). Hidrografski institut JRM, Split, 1955. 2 T. Duplanĉić Leder, T. • Prometna Povezanost
Tourism Introduction Zadar County encompasses marine area from Island Pag to National Park Kornati and land area of Velebit, i.e. the central part of the Croatian coastline. This is the area of true natural beauty, inhabited from the Antique period, rich with cultural heritage, maritime tradition and hospitality. Zadar County is the heart of the Adriatic and the fulfilment of many sailors' dreams with its numerous islands as well as interesting and clean underwater. It can easily be accessed from the sea, by inland transport and airways. Inseparable unity of the past and the present can be seen everywhere. Natural beauties, cultural and historical monuments have been in harmony for centuries, because men lived in harmony with nature. As a World rarity, here, in a relatively small area, within a hundred or so kilometres, one can find beautiful turquoise sea, mountains covered with snow, fertile land, rough karst, ancient cities and secluded Island bays. This is the land of the sun, warm sea, olives, wine, fish, song, picturesque villages with stone- made houses, to summarise - the true Mediterranean. History of Tourism in Zadar Tourism in Zadar has a long tradition. The historical yearbooks record that in June 1879 a group of excursionists from Vienna visited Zadar, in 1892 the City Beautification Society was founded (active until 1918), and in 1899 the Mountaineering and Tourism Society "Liburnia" was founded. At the beginning of the XX century, in March 1902 hotel Bristol was opened to the public (today's hotel Zagreb). Most important period for the development of tourism in Zadar County lasted from the 60's - 80's of the 20th century, when the majority of the hotel complexes were erected.

  • Coastline Lengths and Areas of Islands in the Croatian Part of the Adriatic Sea Determined from the Topographic Maps at the Scale of 1 : 25 000
Geoadria Vol. 9 No. 1 5-32 Zadar, 2004. COASTLINE LENGTHS AND AREAS OF ISLANDS IN THE CROATIAN PART OF THE ADRIATIC SEA DETERMINED FROM THE TOPOGRAPHIC MAPS AT THE SCALE OF 1 : 25 000 TEA DUPLANČIĆ LEDER1 UDC: 911.3:32](497.5)(210.7) TIN UJEVIĆ2 Original scientific paper MENDI ČALA1 Izvorni znanstveni članak 1Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia Hrvatski hidrografski institut 2InfoKARTA, Mažuranićevo šetalište 14, Split Primljeno: 2004-05-09 Received: In this paper, modern definition of island established by the IHO has been accepted, and classification of islands, islets, rocks and rocks awash has been proposed according to their areas. The coastline of the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea was digitized from topographic maps produced at the scale of 1 : 25 000 (TM 25). Topographic maps used for digitization are more precise than the maps that were used in earlier works and consequently the data on the number of islands and their coastline lengths and areas are more precise. Polygons of islands were closed in GIS package AutoCAD Map 2000, and each was given its name. From the obtained database and classification of islands, islets and rocks, in the coastal sea area of the Republic of Croatia 79 islands, 525 islets, and 642 rocks and rocks awash, or a total of 1246 have been recorded. Furthermore, it has been established that on TM 25 the island of Cres has the largest area (405.70 km2), although in literature so far (including atlases) the island of Krk was most often cited as the largest island in the Adriatic Sea.
