Day 2 (20 Sep) Lanzhou – Zhangye (B/L/D) The Yellow River Iron Bridge , as the first real bridge and the bridge with longest history striding above the Yellow River in Lanzhou. A huge stele on a turtle inscribed with the words – The First Bridge over the Yellow River Giant ancient waterwheels , invented by Duan Xu, an official and a scholar in the Ming Dynasty, were used for irrigation of the farming fields along the Yellow River in ancient Lanzhou City. The Lanzhou waterwheel was a famous invention of ancient China, and it was named "Heaven Wheel", "Fan Wheel", "Irrigative Wheel" and "Tiger Wheel" at different times of the history. Hence the Waterwheel Garden was built to honor the invention of this ancient irrigation instrument.

Day 3 (21 Sep) Zhangye – Dunhuang (B/L/D) 07:00hrs arrived in Zhangye Visit the Buddha Temple, China's gigantic indoor reclining Buddha. Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park , is also known as "the eye candy of Zhangye". Many artists admire this masterpiece as it is unbelievably colorful, like an imaginative oil painting . 22:00hrs we will onboard the ‘Orient Express’ Charter Overnight Train to Dunhuang .
Day 4 (22 Sep) Dunhuang (B/L/D) 08:00hrs arrived in Dunhuang. Specially arranged for you on the train institute of Dunhuang experts and professors explain in detail for you. Mingsha Hill and Yueya (Crescent Moon) Spring . It is said that if we slide down Mingsha Hill sleep slopes, we can hear sounds made by the moving sand. If the weather is good, the sounds are likened to melodious orchestral music. Yueya (Crescent) Spring, which has crystal-clear spring water. Day 6 (24 Sep) Turpan – Urumqi (B/L/D) 09:00hrs arrived in Turpan . Karez irrigation system . It is said that the Karez irrigation system, the Great Wall of China and the Jinghang Grand Canal are the engineering miracles of ancient China. Flaming Mountain , immortalized in the classic story ‘Journey to the West’. Jiaohe Ancient City . Also known as Ya’er City, it is located 10km from Turpan, so named because it lies where two rivers meet. It is also said to be a Han Period Cheshi structure. Thereafter, onboard coach to Urumqi , the capital of the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region, the farthest city from the ocean.

Aboard the cruise, we can also view the snow-capped summit of Bogda Peak, which forms a captivating contrast to the jade-green lake waters International Bazaar , symbolizes the boom of Sinkiang's commerce and tourism.
