Please contact the media relations office in advance for this service. A courtesy phone line is available for visiting radio on press row along with wireless internet. Photographers Only accredited photographers on assignment will be allowed courtside during matches in Charles Koch Arena. Photographers are asked to shoot at least 15 feet from the playing area (i.e., many times action takes place beyond the out-of-bounds lines). Photographers are restricted from the areas in front of the team benches on the east side of the court and are asked not to sta- tion themselves in front of the floor scoreboards. Daily practices are open, and photographers (still or video) are allowed on the floor, away from the action. Visiting Radio One courtesy line is available at press row. Contact Tami Cutler at (316) 978-5559 for information about its availability. Please let us know in advance if more lines will be requested. Interviews The WSU Media Relations Office encourages media personnel to arrange interview requests in advance. To set up an ap- pointment with head coach Chris Lamb or a member of his staff, contact the volleyball office at (316) 978-3269. To arrange a one-on-one interview with a player, contact Tami Cutler at (316) 978-5559. Most interviews can be conducted prior to or after practice. For phone interviews, it is suggested that the interviewer leave his/her name and phone number with the Media Relations Office and the athlete will return the call when convenient for both parties. Please make your interview requests at least one day in advance to allow the Media Relations Office adequate time in arranging the appointment. No athlete interviews will be granted the day of a match or during practice. Daily practices are open to the public and media attendance. Following a match, after a brief cooling-off period, players and head coach Chris Lamb will be available in the interview room. A member of the media relations staff will be available to assist you in locating athletes. Charles Koch Arena opened in the Fall 2003, and the first event inside the new facility was the fourth annual Shocker Volleyball Classic on Sept. 12- 13, 2003. Charles Koch Arena was then dedicated Dec. 20, 2003 when Wichita State defeated long-time rival Tulsa. For 47 years the arena, which was previously known as Levitt Arena, was home to Shocker Athletics before the $25 million renovation campaign -”Roundhouse Renaissance” - began. The reconstruction plan, which was announced in Oct. 2000, and began in March 2002, addressed the primary facility needs of the Shockers Athletic Department with the Henry Levitt Athletic Complex, which includes the Charles Koch Arena and Devlin Court, the Taylor Concourse, the Preferred Health Systems Multi Purpose Center, Geist Student Services Building, the Downing Academic Learning Center and the Via Christi Sports Medicine Complex. For 19 seasons, Levitt Arena was home to WSU volleyball before “Roundhouse Renaissance” began. While construction continued, WSU played in the

    SANTA ROSA CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENT ATHLETIC CLEARANCE PACKET I. PROCEDURE FOR COMPLETING ATHLETIC CLEARANCE: The following information must be signed by the parent/guardian and student to be personally handed to the athletic director for approval prior to tryouts. When the athletic director has completed the approval process he/she will notify the coach as to the eligibility status of the student. The coach will then notify the student that they have been approved to participate in tryouts.     COACHING STAFF 2009-10 STANFORD WRESTLING Jason Borrelli Prior to coming to Stanford, Borrelli served as an assistant coach at Central Michigan Head Coach and ran a youth wrestling club. In his first year on the staff, he helped the Chippewas to their ninth consecutive Mid-American Conference Championship. The squad finished Central Michigan (2005) the season ranked fifth in the final dual meet rankings and finished 15th at the NCAA Second Season Championships in Detroit, Mich. Borrelli also helped guide three CMU wrestlers to All- America honors during the 2006-07 season. A Mt. Pleasant, Mich. native, Borrelli was a two-time Michigan State Champion in high school before beginning his career at Central Michigan in 2001. A four-year starter at 125 and 133 pounds, he was part of five consecutive team Mid-American Conference (MAC) championships. As a junior in 2005, he captured the 133-pound MAC title. DATE: ~ II" ")tJ/2­ iii IMPLEMENTATION OF FRESHMAN FOOTBALL Project by Jose Luis Salazar ABSTRACT Purpose of the Project: I plan to implement freshman football in the Santa Rosa City School District (SRCS). I am developing a freshman football program that I believe would benefit many young men we serve at the high school settings. SRCS does not offer any opportunity for freshmen to play on a freshman-only football team. SRCS is the only local district that participates in the North Bay League in the Sonoma County League that does not offer a true freshman program. Freshmen are forced to tryout and compete against sophomores and juniors for starting positions on the junior varsity (JV) football team. Procedure: I arranged weekly meetings with Richard Swain and Rod Lund to address issues, discuss concerns, decide who to contact, delegate the next steps, reviewed updates, etc. We met with Russ Peterich, the SRCS high schools' Athletic Director Coordinator SRCS and Assistant Commissioner in the North Bay League (NBL), and with Doug Bower, who is the SRCS Associate Superintendent in the Business Services delegated to the district financial decisions.

The Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT), also referred to as a “bed tax” or “room tax”, is a tax assessed to visitors staying in all lodging establishments within the city limits. In 2004, voters passed a ballot measure to ensure there would be an ongoing funding source for parks, recreation and open space by designating 10% of the TOT to fund Community Services/Parks & Recreation. An additional 2% goes to support public safety, and the remaining 2% to support affordable housing initiatives.     WELCOME FROM THE MAYOR WELCOME TO HEALDSBURG PARKS & RECREATION! It is my pleasure to present the 2015 Spring and Summer Recreation Program Guide. This year, the Parks and Recreation staff is bringing you more programs than ever. The Spring/Summer season is full of great classes, summer camps, swim lessons and special events – there truly is something for everyone. We are excited to announce that the Parks and Rec department has a new tagline - “Come Out & Play!” I wanted to take a moment to personally thank all of you who participated in selecting this new tagline. We all feel that this simple phrase sums up our Parks and Rec perfectly and we hope it will encourage and motivate our community to come out and enjoy all that Parks and Rec has to offer. I am also happy to announce the City of Healdsburg Community Center garden continues to flourish. Volunteers help plant and nurture this special garden, which is used as a learning environment for the children in our afterschool program and camps. Not only do they learn about planting and eating fresh fruits and vegetables, they also learn about the importance of giving to the community. The bulk of the fresh, organic produce grown is donated to the Healdsburg Food Pantry. Last year over 1,200 lbs of produce was donated to the Pantry. Be sure and mark your calendars for this year’s special events! The always popular Tuesdays in the Plaza Summer Concert series returns May 26th and our second annual Aquatic Program Open House and Vamos a Nadar (Let’s Go Swimming) program will be held Sunday, June 7th from 1-4 pm at the Swim Center.
