IN CHARACTER LIST

Regular Alice: (**Actor must be under 60” see below) – A curious and imaginative young girl who gets lost in a world of her creation while working on her lesson in the park with her sister.

Tiny Alice: (**Actor must be under 54” see below) Alice who eats strange wonderland foods and changes sizes. Played by a tiny actor who can carry scenes and work with Regular Alice in order to develop Alice’s character.

Lorina: Alice’s sister who teaches her history in the park.

Dinah (Played by a Tiny Actor): Alice’s friend, who happens to be a cat.

White Rabbit: A highly energetic, and frequently tardy rabbit who leads Alice through wonderland.

Doorknob: A comedic and mischievous character. One of the first things that Alice encounters in Wonderland.

Dodo: The Commander of the Queen’s Royal Navy. In charge of the Sea Creatures.

Parrot: A small speaking role. The sidekick of the Dodo.

Tweedle Dee: One half of a comedic duo. Likes to recite poetry. Preferably looks like the actor playing Tweedle Dum.

Tweedle Dum: One half of a comedic duo. Likes to recite poetry. Preferably looks like the actor playing Tweedle Dee.

Bill the Gecko (Lizard): A chimney sweep gecko who wants to help Alice get unstuck. Preferably able to perform dancing tricks or be flexible.

Queen of Hearts: A commanding and maniacal ruler in Wonderland. Loves to play games, but only if she can win.

King of Hearts: An eloquent but overshadowed ruler in Wonderland. Is often overruled by his wife.

Caterpillar: An inhabitant of a mushroom in the forest. A poetry enthusiast who loves to blow bubbles.

Cheshire Cat: Intelligent and mischievous inhabitant of the forest. Frequently quotes the .

March Hare: A member of the who enjoys a good party. A little less crazy than the Mad Hatter and loves playing games. Mad Hatter: The host of the Tea Party. An eccentric and nonsensical fellow who befriends Alice.

Dormouse (Played by a Tiny Actor): A mouse who lives at the Hatter’s tea party and in a teapot or sugar bowl.

Lead Cards (Ace of Spades, Two of Clubs, Three of Diamonds, Four of Hearts): Loyal, but not too bright, minions of the Queen and King of Hearts.

Odd Duck: An unhinged duck that frightens Alice on her way through the woods.

Lead Flowers (Iris, Daisy, Rose, Petunia, Violet, Rose Bud, Tulip, Lilac, Pansy, Poppy, Buttercup): The Flower Girls are the snooty, mean girls who think that they are the most important. They all love to sing about themselves. Rose and Rosebud should be either Older and Younger sisters, or Mother and Daughter type relationship.

Strange Creature (): One of the featured creatures that Alice encounters while walking through the forest. A reference to the poem “The Jabberwocky,” which is references several other times throughout the musical. Non-speaking role.
