Truman turned four Blue Tiger turnovers into 21 points, 14 coming in the first quarter and running back Jordan Salima ran for a career high 147 yards on 16 carries in the victory. Salima scored three rushing touch- downs and averaged 9.2 yards per carry on a hot Saturday afternoon in Jefferson City. The Greyhounds are off to their best start in 20 years and were ranked 10th in the latest AFCA Coaches Poll that was put out last Monday. They got off to a hot start in a non-conference game against Hillsdale on Saturday going up 23-0 early in the second quarter. The Chargers scored 21 straight and the game bounced back and forth until a 93-yard interception return by Martece McClinton gave UINDY a 45-38 lead and victory. The Union was formed in 2011 by the QU baseball and soccer teams. It all started off as a joke and the members did not think their legacy would last long.They would meet occasionally at a place better known on campus as Brown Town. Now there are no meetings. It is strictly cheering at each oth- er’s games.
