Artists’ Quality Hand Made Soft Pastels
Hand-made, in a small Italian village high in the Appennines, these beautiful, unique and idiosyncratic pastels are created from carefully chosen pigments. Whether they be ancient colours such as madder lake or indigo or modern synthetic pigments such as heliogen green or indanthrene blue. Based on an eighteenth century oil painters palette, this range offers something quite new and special to the serious pastel artist. Unlike conventional ranges of pastels, who grade their tones from light to dark, these pastels help the artist by giving a spectrum of colour that gives the maximum potential for the expression of colour.
*All colours are hand rolled and may differ in tone from one batch to another. No toxic pigments are used in the manufacture of these pastels.
