Annual Ranger Awards

Every year at the Annual Ceremonial Review and final Mess dinner, awards are given out to the Cadets who have shown to be the most deserving.

Best Attendance Award: Awarded to the Ranger who has been the most involved.

Best Dressed Cadet Award: Awarded to the Ranger that has demonstrated the highest standard in the care of their dress and deportment throughout the year.

Best Guardsman Award: Awarded to the Ranger demonstrating a high standard of rifle drill, dress, and deportment.

Best Recruit Award: Awarded to a new recruit who has shown a combination of good attendance, dress, deportment, enthusiasm, and performance objectives.

Best Shot Award: Determined by Marksmanship Program scores.

Bob Goode Memorial Award: Awarded to the Junior NCO demonstrating exceptional drill, dress, deportment, leadership abilities, and community involvement. Community involvement is defined as participation in community activities both within and outside of the Cadet Corps.

Citizenship Award: Awarded to the Junior NCO who has participated most actively in citizenship activities within the Corps.

Exemplary Cadet Award: Awarded to the Ranger that has demonstrated above standard dedication to the completion of duties and to the training of Cadets. This member has shown the high efficiency in assigned responsibilities.

Infantryman Award: Awarded to a Ranger holding the rank of Sergeant or above in the position of section , who has displayed strong leadership skills in the field.

Instructional Proficiency Award: Awarded to the Ranger that has shown the highest standard of instruction throughout the year.

Most Efficient Band Member Award: Determined by the Commanding Officer and Band .

Most Efficient Cadet Award: Awarded to the Ranger that has shown the highest efficiency in carrying out assigned tasks.

Most Improved Cadet Award: Awarded to the Ranger showing the greatest improvement in the areas of dress, deportment, co-operation and attendance over the last year’s performance.

Rangers’ Choice Award: Determined by NCOs for Top NCO of their choice.
