They provide a comprehensive view, for by relevant stakeholders and to avoid the benefit of the ATM community at large, of unnecessary duplications of work. how ECAC States and stakeholders I would like again to thank you for the concerned are progressing in planning and substantial effort spent on your contribution to deploying the mature elements of the this LSSIP document. I see this as a proof of European ATM Master Plan. your commitment to the principles of The Master Plan Level 3 Implementation transparency and partnership, to the benefit of Planning and Reporting mechanism (formerly the entire ATM community! known as ESSIP) and LSSIP are well- established and mature mechanisms, with a long history dating back more than 20 years. They provide a well-recognised stable platform for implementation planning, monitoring and reporting, while continuously adapting to the changing environment. The constant improvement of the reliability and quality of data provided by national stakeholders allowed, for the fourth consecutive year, to use the LSSIP documents and tools as a support to the Performance Review Body for its capital expenditure analysis. The LSSIP documents and tools also constitute the sole source of information for the development of the Aviation System Block Upgrades (ASBUs) Implementation Monitoring Report. This work is undertaken for the ECAC States on behalf of ICAO, in accordance with the Global Air Navigation Plan (GANP). This ASBUs Implementation Monitoring Report is now a formal companion document and integral part of the ICAO European Air Navigation Plan. It is also the fourth year that the LSSIP Expert Group is operational and that has provided an invaluable support to the Agency in various domains like process improvement, upgrade of IT tools and LSSIP Database, enhancement of the methodology on Implementation Objectives progress determination and in particular advising the Agency how best to avoid multiple reporting. The establishment of a self- financed and independent Authority has been guaranteed through Law Nr.10233 date 12.03.2010 as amended by law Nr. 168/2014 date 10.12.2014 for the Civil Aviation Authority. The ACAA as a regulator is institutionally separated from the ANS service provider, Albcontrol sh.a, which is a joint stock company. Albania CAA and other aviation organisations in Albania, are cooperating with EU in several Programs which aim the full country integration into EU family including aviation community. Albanian Air Navigational Services are provided by Albcontrol sh.a., which is designated as ATS, CNS, MET and AIS Provider by ACAA. "Tourism governance in post-war transition: the case of Kosova" Shqiperim Reka A thesis submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements of Sheffield Hallam University for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy February 2017 Abstract The aim of this research study was to examine tourism governance in post-war transition with specific reference to the influence of political, economic and social factors, institutional arrangements, collaboration and power relations. Within this context, a crucial objective was to assess the role of mindset. Reviewing the literature in relation to the key concepts, it was discovered that research tends to focus on political and economic transition, whereas the social dimension, despite its importance, is largely neglected. Similarly, tourism governance has been overlooked in studies of tourism in post-war transition. Furthermore, the literature on tourism governance rarely takes the issue of mindset into account. To address these gaps in knowledge, a qualitative research approach was applied to study tourism governance in post-war transitional Kosova.

  • Albanian Families' History and Heritage Making at the Crossroads of New
Voicing the stories of the excluded: Albanian families’ history and heritage making at the crossroads of new and old homes Eleni Vomvyla UCL Institute of Archaeology Thesis submitted for the award of Doctor in Philosophy in Cultural Heritage 2013 Declaration of originality I, Eleni Vomvyla confirm that the work presented in this thesis is my own. Where information has been derived from other sources, I confirm that this has been indicated in the thesis. Signature 2 To the five Albanian families for opening their homes and sharing their stories with me. 3 Abstract My research explores the dialectical relationship between identity and the conceptualisation/creation of history and heritage in migration by studying a socially excluded group in Greece, that of Albanian families. Even though the Albanian community has more than twenty years of presence in the country, its stories, often invested with otherness, remain hidden in the Greek ‘mono-cultural’ landscape. In opposition to these stigmatising discourses, my study draws on movements democratising the past and calling for engagements from below by endorsing the socially constructed nature of identity and the denationalisation of memory. A nine-month fieldwork with five Albanian families took place in their domestic and neighbourhood settings in the areas of Athens and Piraeus. Based on critical ethnography, data collection was derived from participant observation, conversational interviews and participatory techniques. From an individual and family group point of view the notion of habitus led to diverse conceptions of ethnic identity, taking transnational dimensions in families’ literal and metaphorical back- and-forth movements between Greece and Albania.

  • The Law of Air Warfare
The Law of Air Warfare by Javier Guisandez Gomez Hostile aerial action Under aerospace doctrine an aerial action is a set of aerial sorties of the same nature which take place simultaneously in pursuit of a common aim. In other words, an action of this type would attain the objective pursued if it involved two or more aircraft engaging in any of a range of operations, namely attacks, reconnaissance, transportation and special aerial missions. The possible situations in which aerial actions may take place range from peacetime to warfare, including all the intermediate stages. It may therefore be said that when aerial action is described as hostile, it is because it is actually carrying out or intended to carry out acts that have a single common characteristic, that is, violence. In this context, violence must be understood as acts which are com- mitted without the consent of the affected group or country and which therefore constitute a violation of the rights or the status of other com- munities or nations. It is important to clarify this point, as otherwise hostile Francisco Javier Guisandez Gomez is a colonel in the Spanish Air Force and heads the Tactics and Doctrine Department at the Air Force Academy in Madrid. Colonel Guisandez Gomez teaches the law of war at the Academy, at the Madrid Centre for the Study of International Humanitarian Law, at the International Institute of Humanitarian Law in San Remo, Italy, and also as an instructor for the ICRC in El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua. Original: Spanish 347 INTERNATIONAL REVIEW OF THE RED CROSS aerial action would cover only aerial attack missions, while those involv- ing transportation or reconnaissance and special missions, and also electronic warfare, in-flight refuelling and so on, would not be classified as hostile action.

Your family, where you grew up… Zenun Çelaj: So, it doesn’t necessarily have to be about Prishtina? Aurela Kadriu: No, no. Zenun Çelaj: Okay. Aurela Kadriu: We’re talking about your life, then if in a particular moment it connects to Prishtina. Zenun Çelaj: I am Zenun Çelaj, I come from a northern village in Montenegro, Vuthaj, valley of Plava and Gucia. A very historical area and natural beauty. Very rare, beautiful. Not because it’s my hometown, but because it is. Other people have also said this. I come from a family of shepherds, they had a lot of sheep. We were a big family and I’m practically the first to get an education in my family, which had over 60 members scattered across the border. I’m talking about Montenegro and Albania, since the village was located like that, it had the properties there. At that time there were no borders, then the borders were created and we didn’t see our relatives there for decades, nor did we know about their lives, nor about their fate as they didn’t for us.

He was ten years old when I met him and his father in the military hospital in Tirana in April 1999, when I was working as a journalist for Shekulli newspaper. His tragic life story at that young age became the base for this work of fiction. Preface 24 March 1999. A thousand NATO aircraft began operating from air bases in Germany and Italy. USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT holder plane had just landed on the Adriatic Sea. Spanish Air Force F/A-18 Hornets were the first to throw bombs on Belgrade. BGM-109 Tomahawk began to fire missiles from ships and submarine boards, supported by a battalion of Apache helicopters, which belonged to the Eleventh US Regiment Army Aviation. NATO airstrikes hit Belgrade‘s Ministry of Interior building, the Chinese embassy, and several bridges over the Danube river. PART I The Horseshoe. Chapter 1 Someone was banging on the front door with what sounded like the butt of a gun. The knocks were forceful. Ermal Bllaca threw the blankets off and jumped out of bed. He opened the door of his room slightly and saw his father Adem getting up, wiping his sleepy eyes with the back of his hand.

Monikieliset lapset ovat jo usean vuoden ajan vaatineet huomiota, joka nostaisi heidän rikkaan ja moninaisen kielenkäyttönsä negatiivisen valon sijasta positiiviseen valoon. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoite on tutkia monikielisten nuorten kieli-identiteettiä. Ensin tutkimus tarkastelee monikielisen ympäristön vaikutusta ihmisen kieli-identiteettiin. As indicated in the introduction, systemic factors will refer to the nature and intensity of threat in the international system directed against Albania and China. Ideology is dened as a belief system that guides the attitudes and actions of governing elites. The nature of Small Power-Great Power relationships will be determined by the goals and objectives sought by each side. Changes in members’ goals will alter basic objectives they seek and will change the nature of the alliance relationship. The ability of alliance members to coordinate activities toward achieving jointly-dened objectives will depend to a great extent on their unity of perception of the nature, intensity and origin of the threat in the international system directed against them, the political and economic advantages they derive from the alliance, and a common ideological world outlook. The larger the external threat, the more likely will the Small Power be to accept the alliance relationship on the Great Power’s terms and to meet the latter’s demands.

It reflects events he lived through, his personal impressions, and gives conclusions, which provide lessons for all periods, drawn from the hostile activity carried out openly or behind the scenes, against our National Liberation Movement, our people's revolution and socialist Albania by the Anglo-American bourgeoisie. It brings out clearly the clash between the diabolical plans, attempts, manoeuvres and concrete activities of Anglo-American imperialism to put Albania under its sway, on the one hand, and the vigilance, the blow for blow struggle of the Communist Party of Albania and its General Secretary, the leader of the Army and the National Liberation Front and the whole patriotic Alba• nian people, Comrade Enver Hoxha, on the other hand, to discover, unmask, defeat and destroy the imperialist strategy and tactics in regard to Albania.
