Chinese Ceramics range from construction materials such as bricks and tiles to hand-built pottery vessels fired in bonfires or kilns to the sophisticated porcelain wares made for the imperial court. Some experts believe the first true porcelain was made in the province of Zhejiang during the Eastern Han period (23-220 AD). This kind of fine art developed since the dynastic periods, and has different features from dynasty to dynasty.
