Tres mujeres, Jimena Menéndez Pidal, Ángeles Gasset y Carmen García del Diestro, antiguas maestras del Instituto-Escuela, herederas del sistema pedagógico de la Institución Libre de Enseñanza y del Instituto-Escuela, deciden fundar un colegio recién terminada la guerra civil española. Ese colegio se llamará Estudio, abre sus puertas en plena dictadura, enero de 1940, en la pequeña sede del chalecito de la calle Oquendo. Su sistema educativo contrario al establecido por el Régimen les hará ir sorteando miles de dificultades para poder conseguir el objetivo de educar en el respeto al niño y al ser humano.

The story of three schoolteachers who, in difficult times, fought for the ideals that modernised education in our country. At the end of the Spanish Civil War three women, Jimena Menéndez Pidal, Ángeles Gasset and Carmen García del Diestro, former teachers of the Instituto Escuela who had inherited the pedagogic system advocated by the Institución Libre de Enseñanza and the Instituto Escuela itself, decided to found their own school. The institution took the name of Colegio Estudio and opened during the early years of Franco's dictatorship, in January 1940, in a small house on Calle Oquendo. The educational system it pursued was directly opposed to the regime’s system, therefore obliging the staff to overcome numerous obstacles in their mission to provide an education based on respect for the child and all human beings.

El séptimo sentido es el camino que recorre José Mª Nunes, para descubrir un suceso trascendental en nuestro avanzado siglo, que es: Que el cine es un sentido. A través de su trayectoria Nunes nos fundamenta el por qué del descubrimiento. Nunes fue uno de los hombres más trascendentales de nuestro cine, creador de l’Escola de Barcelona, sin ser prácticamente parte de ella, pero sin él seguro que no sería lo mismo. José Mª Blanco nos relata anécdotas que nos hacen comprender un poco más la personalidad de uno de los directores más interesantes y posiblemente demasiado maltratado por su escasa difusión. El Séptimo sentido pretende presentar a Nunes en su estado puro. Creo que a partir de la visión de la película los que tuvimos el placer de conocerle, volveremos a gozar de su compañía y los que no lo conocieron lo harán y seguro que querrán revisitar su obra, que como él mismo dice, siempre es la misma película, aunque yo creo que deben revisitarse todas. Un genio no siempre comprendido, que vivirá siempre entre nosotros pues Nunes es inmortal. Salut!

Luisa Llorente, an assessor for an estate agents called Immoverance, was assigned the daunting task of going to assess Lázaro Valdemar's property and has disappeared without a trace. Two search parties have been sent out to find her: one with Nicolás Trámel, a detective hired by Maximilian Colvin, the head of the company, and the other, Ana and Eduardo, Luisa's colleagues, who are driving to try to join forces with the detective; but something's not right... In the middle of the night a figure jumps out into the road and causes them to crash. Before losing consciousness the driver is able to make out who is behind it; it's no other than Luisa Llorente herself, desperately trying to escape from her pursuer.

Temps d´aigua es una ficción-documental que indaga en los l 2011 - TEMPS D'AIGUA temas de la identidad y la desaparición. Construida a base de multitud de notas cinematográficas sobre formas de vida en peligro de extinción, todo este material etnográfico se reescribe en primera persona, a partir de una figura alegórica que emprende un viaje en busca de sus orígenes. La película se acerca con intención antropológica y mirada poética a la gente que todavía habita cerca de la Albufera valenciana, a sus ritmos y ritos ancestrales, concentrándose especialmente en la vida de los últimos “indígenas” del lugar, unos adolescentes que viven en el barrio del Tremolar, así como en la aparición de nuevos pobladores inmigrantes. El nombre de ese barrio, que significa “temblor”, es una resonancia explícita de los cambios que se ciernen inexorablemente sobre todo un pueblo y su cultura.

Urteberri on, Amona! is a black comedy that follows the conflicts Mari's family goes through while trying to looking after this peculiar grandmother. Grandma Mari is draining the life out of her daughter Maritxu so her husband Joxemari decides to put her in a nursing home. Joxemari must take her in without his wife getting wind of the situation and to do so enlists the help of his son-in –law Kintxo. This may seem a simple task but the grandmother’s character causes a duel of unexpected consequences. The director portrays the conflict in a humorous tone but also sheds light on dilemmas such as fear of solitude, loss of moral values, selfishness and family disintegration.

La Banda Trapera del Rio was the rawest rock'n'roll band to come out of Spain's transition to democracy. Tino es el protagonista de esta historia. Tiene 17 años y una particularidad que le diferencia de la mayor parte de la gente: el síndrome de Down. Tino hace sus estudios en Amidown, centro especializado de una ciudad de provincias. En el momento en que nos acercamos a él, su mundo está configurado principalmente por sus amigos del colegio, con los que comparte muchas horas de formación, y por su hermana Licia (que le adora) y la pandilla de ésta. También está su primo Baldo que recaba su ayuda, sin darle momento de respiro, como mensajero en sus cuitas amorosas con Elvira. Esta película cuenta lo que va a ser un período decisivo en su vida, las circunstancias en que descubre tanto el amor como las pequeñas desdichas que conlleva. Y cómo, a través de una serie de peripecias divertidas, se va a preparar para enfrentarse a la vida con una mirada nueva.

This story follows Tino, a seventeen-year-old with something special that sets him apart from nearly everyone else: Down syndrome. Tino studies at Amidown, a specialist centre in a provincial town. In the moment we find him in his world is made up mainly of classmates, friends he shares many hours of education with, and his sister Licia (who adores him) and her gang of friends. Then there's his cousin Baldo, who calls on his help, relentlessly, as a messenger for his dates with Elvira.

In 2010 an earthquake shooked Haiti, reducing the poorest country in America to rubble. A team of Spanish firefighters, accompanied by the rescue dog “Turco” became the protagonists of one of the most media rescue: two years old Redjeson, was found alife 48 hours after the earthquake, becoming a symbol of hope.
